Whoops! Sorry, my bad.

I had a Core World named Alderan I for which I had built a shipyard named Alderan Shipyard I. Life was good. Then Alderan I was successfully invaded by another civilization. I then successfully reconquered Alderan I and tried to assign Alderan I as the sponsoring Core World for Alderan Shipyard I. In previous versions I was able to go to the Manage Shipyard screen and assign a Core World as the sponsor for the shipyard, but that ability seems to be gone.
"Enhaned" should be "Enhanced".
I selected the option to display the grid, but as you can see in the first screen snapshot below, the grid is only visible near the top of the screen and is not visible in the majority of the screen. If I zoom out far enough, the grid suddenly becomes visible as shown in the second screen snapshot below. It was not like this in .77. Was this an intentional change in .77a or is this just a whoopsie? As a player, if I choose to see the grid, I want to see the grid all of
This is a minor, but annoying text display issue in .77a. Please note that the text at the beginning and the end has been cutoff. If this has been previously reported for .77a, I apologize, but it is hard to know what has been reported and what has not.
Publius of NV, Thank you for letting me know. It is hard for me to know what is a known bug and what is not.
There must be something I do not understand about influence. Can someone take a look at the following screen snapshot and explain how the Drath Freehold, who just successfully invaded one Class 4 planet, suddenly has the dominant influence over so many cells when I, playing as the Mimot Brotherhood, control every planet except 3? Prior to the invasion of the Class 4 planet I had dominant influence over every cell. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/64/79/6479257/8c64
I have been playing the Beta version as the Mimot Brotherhood and have been experiencing some strange behavior when invading planets and when my planets have been invaded. The first screen snapshot shows that I own a planet named Iridia and its Planetary Defense is 34/34. The second screen snapshot shows a single Level 1 D.L.S. Transport that is trying to invade Iridia. I would expect that my planetary defenses would have to be reduced to 0 and then 1 or more weeks would hav
In a previous post related to one of the Alpha versions, I reported and gave an example of extremely excessive experience being given to ships when I was playing as the Mimot Brotherhood. Now, playing the Beta version, the only ships that have gained any experience are my survey ships. None of my other ships appear to have gained any experience from winning battles. Would you please have someone take a look at the code that was modified to fix the excess experience problem t
Under the "Opportunity" ideology, the last option called "Poaching" does not work. The first screen snapshot below shows that I have used a culture point to select that option. The second screen snapshot shows that Iridia, a world that I just captured, is not a Core World meaning that it does not have a Governor, which means that "Poaching" did not work. This has happened with a number of previous worlds that I have conquered, but it took a while before I was sure that it wa
Below is a screen snapshot of my galaxy settings. As you can see, I have set "Civilization Proximity" to "Distant". The "Number of Sectors" is set to "A Few". The "Starting Sector Size" is set to "Large". On the "Opponents" screen I have selected 8 opponents. Given these settings why do I always end up with 2 other factions in my starting sector? I have started 4 games over the last 2 days and I quit each time after discovering at least 2 factions in my s
No, I wasn't aware of that bug, but it explains why the Factions window is always empty. I thought that screen just wasn't finished yet.
I noticed that a new version downloaded yesterday so I started a new game as my favorite Mimot Brotherhood. When I did, I noticed a minor little annoyance and wanted to ask if it was intentional or a mistake. When you click on the "Customize" button you get a popup window that asks if you want to use your last custom settings for the selected faction. If I say "Yes", all of the customized settings from my previous game are selected except for one: Ideology. I set my se
Many turns ago in my current game a window popped-up with a story about citizens being kidnapped (or something like that - I do not remember exactly what it said) on one of my planets named "Tangra I". Now, there is an available project named "Find Missing Colonists" that is only available on Tangra I (see the screen snapshot below). This project only takes 1 turn to complete and I have done this project for about the last 20 turns. What is it supposed to do? Is it wor
This one is interesting, and I had to do it a couple of times to make sure it was repeatable. Normally, if you attack a shipyard or starbase and you take its hit points down to zero, there will be a little explosion animation and the shipyard or starbase disappears. However, I have found that if I attack a shipyard or starbase using the Antimatter Bomb that is a weapon on my Harpazein command ship (special Mimot Brotherhood ship) and that attack takes the hit points of the targe
I started my current game on Tuesday, and I just noticed that a new version was downloaded on Wednesday, so I guess it is time to start a new game!
With respect to this discussion about zooming, I have found that the ability to use the scroll wheel on my mouse to scroll-out is a very easy way to see all of the sectors at once. When you use the scroll wheel to scroll-in, the app scrolls into the location of your cursor. This allows you to scroll-out to see all sectors, move the cursor to the area you want to see up-close, then scroll-in to see that area. I do not think any additional programming is needed to implement mu
Another observation: Normally, when you capture a Core World, if they have not placed their Capital City, you have the option to place a Capital City by dragging an icon from the collection of available improvement icons in the lower left-hand corner of the screen. However, I have noticed multiple times that sometimes the Capital City has not been defined and the Capital City icon is not available in the collection of available improvements. The following screen snapshot sho
Another observation: The video associated with the second screen snapshot below has been played about 5 times now. At first, I thought that it meant that I was studying a new TYPE of precursor relic, but now I have seen this video multiple times for the same type of relic. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/64/79/6479257/d9c53d2a-f336-4606-a674-404c63048
I received the new version Tuesday morning and started a new game as the Mimot. Here are a few observations: I really like the use of the new red dagger icon to delay the appearance of messages and windows that require user input. I think that has helped with the lockups involving getting stuck in the Research Center screen. It looks like you have made some technology changes related to invading planets with a "MasterTech" prefix, but those changes are not
This is a minor, but annoying bug: Successfully invade a core world with 1 or more transports If you were able to keep the Governor (Poaching trait under the Opportunity ideology), go the "Governors" tab under the "Leaders" screen and remove the Governor At this point you will not be able to eject the transports from the world on any subsequent turn until you assign a Governor to the world. At that point you can immediately eject the "stuck" tran
This bug does not affect game play, but it is annoying. I destroyed the Klepart minor civilization about 75 turns ago and I have gotten the below message 4 times now, each time at the start of a new turn. It does not appear every turn, but I have gotten it 4 times.
Frogboy, If you want us to "read up on the Vault dev journal" it would be nice to get a link or directions to the Vault dev journal. It may be obvious to you, but to those of us doing testing out in the hinterlands, it is not. On the other hand, doesn't it seem inefficient to have multiple places to have to go to post comments and get responses? When you say "they automatically get more XP and each level adds a 'slot' that you can place a special item into" how is
I am experiencing the same thing. Below is a link to a save that I put in DropBox that should let the programmers see what we are talking about. Here are the steps to recreate the issue: Load the save Go to the fleet named "Mimot Brotherhood Roberts-Altizer Fleet VIII" that is located near New Iconia (see the first screen snapshot below) Use that fleet to attack the I.R.S. Cloud that is investigating the anomoly 4 cells down and right Look at
I am running the latest test version and I have noticed a new grid display issue. As shown in the screen snapshot below, the grid does not extend out to the edge of the circle that defines the area of a sector.
