Why do we still have Shipyard Decay as a benefit to researching the Resource Extraction Doctrine technology? As I understand it, there is no shipyard decay anymore.

Whoops, bad screen snapshot. Here is a better one.
Here is a screen snapshot showing a new citizen that was assigned to the farmer role by the game. It also shows that it will cost control to train him to be a scientist. This proves that there is no such thing as a free lunch training.
If you have time, maybe still throw it in. Who knows, if it helps the team to track down the problem [e digicons]:)[/e]
I just provided a link to a save file over in the thread about negative control. Maybe you can use it for this issue too.
I just noticed that my Control is negative again so I made a save file and here is the link to it: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/q3kf70fe15tyjpfu1e1o1/Negative-Control-Under-1.60.388302.GC4Sav?dl=0&rlkey=p9wi6r4yrqqbw3wkyjy28cm9j
Hey, it does sound like a bug to me. Could you share a save file Paul?
If I had a save file from right before I completed the Krynniac Temple I would share it with you, but I don't and I don't see the value in sharing a save file from where I am now.
Well, it clearly says you are in positive income. My first guess would have been, that you somehow payed more than you had stored, but if you say, it has been going down for several turns, that is unlikely. Could you share a save file?
I am well past that point in time now and I have worked my way back to being positive, how I do not know, but that is the point. There needs to be a way of accounting for Control just
The screen snapshot below shows that I have -10 control. It has been dropping for the last few turns. I would like to know why, but I do not know where to look to see what is consuming control every month. Does anybody have any suggestions?
Boric the Quick is still not appearing in my shipyards and, even more annoying, I have gotten the Boric the Quick reward for surveying artifacts over 10 times and I am only on turn 106. You either need to: Make Boric the Quick appear when you say he is going to appear, or Stop making a "Boric the Quick" the reward for surveying artifacts
As the screen snapshot below shows, I built the Krynniac Alter. However, I did not get the 2 citizens that I used to get under versions prior to 1.60.388302. Is this intentional or is it a bug introduced in 1.60.388302? If it is intentional, you need to fix the text to not promise the 2 citizens.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I see that Support Field Stabilization (extends starbase range by 2) has been added as an Available Module for mining starbases. In my opinion, that is a very good change.
I don't know if this is new under 1.60.388302 or if I just noticed it now, but it now takes 5 Control to train a citizen. The game assigns a skill to each citizen as they are created and I frequently want to train them to a different skill. I have been able to do this quite freely in the past, but today I was not able to train a citizen and I realized that the reason was that I was out of Control (literally, not figuratively!). Is this something new under 1.60.388302?
gypsy2299, I am not saying that this is what happened to you where a Pirate killed your prospector but, I have found that one of the survey results creates a pirate ship if you choose the wrong option. I wish I could remember which one it was, but i just remember being surprised at the pirate ship appearing and eventually figured-out where it came from. P.S. I too set the number of hostiles to None.
I started saving every time an Event icon showed up and, miracle of miracles, I have a save that will result in the missing text report: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/uus65a6862ps1klv09l5h/MissingText-Under-1.60.388302.GC4Sav?dl=0&rlkey=c80rh4pzao5eunyorz82d8vd3
It looks like the "Unlock" section needs to be moved down.
Hey Paul, very helpful as always! It all looks like GPT generated quest issues. Would you happen to have respective save files?
Since it is not repeatable, I do not have save files.
And yet another one:
Here is another one:
The first screen snapshot below shows that the Independence trait says "Famed starship Captain Kar Zarkof joins you". However, the second screen snapshot shows that, instead of getting a new leader named Captain Kar Zarkof, I got a Prospector ship with a captain named Brian Ern. I don't mind getting a Prospector ship, in fact I like it, but the text of the Independence trait should be changed to state what players can expect to get. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums
After surveying an artifact I got the following screen which, while it has a nice new graphic, seems to be missing some text.
And the picture still does not match the Survey Report [e digicons]}:)[/e]
Actually, I saw the same graphic for about 3 reports in a row. The first one seemed appropriate - it was the one about slums, but the next ones did not fit with the picture.
The screen snapshot below shows the results of a survey. It says that I should find Boric the Quick in my shipyard, available to build. However, Boric the Quick does not appear as available to build. The following link is to a save that will allow you to recreate the issue: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wmpcll2svna9p5h/Boric%20Under%201.55.377081.GC4Sav?dl=0 After lo
I get this frustration, but I don't know if it's something they can solve that would be worth the time and effort to create ship behaviors like what you're asking for. It also creates an issue in that the battlefield gets much wider and creates camera angle issues for anything except top down. Starbase Orion has ship behaviors similar to what you're asking for, but they only have a top down view making the
I thought you might gain some insight into changes that need to be made by playing the end of a game. The following link is to a save file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1p59nokvwy65fse/End%20Game%20Under%201.55.377081.GC4Sav?dl=0 The things I would like for you to look at are: The annoying number of clicks you have to do to acknowledge the results of treasure
1. The graphics should follow the logic of how the ships choose to fight. 2. The logic of how the ships choose to fight should flow from how they are armed: Ships armed with missiles should attempt to stay within the range of their missiles, but out of range of beams and kinetics Ships armed with beams should try to stay within range of their beam weapons, but out of range of kinetics Ships armed with kinetics should try to stay within range of
