How does that work, btw? Do you send your criminals to constructors and then Outland happens? (The Sean Connery movie, hur hur.) What happens if I put criminals on the Colony ships? I have literally no idea so I'm just randomly assigning people to those ships for the most part.
No I send my high expectation cits to starbases and my high stat cits to colonize. My criminals I throw out the

At the moment the largest map is only 9 sectors and the Far setting for AI distance is maybe one sector without AI but most likely at least on is going to be in the next sector. Until they develop a map editor this will likely not improve much.
Send a save with explanation of what happened, devs need it.
I represent that remark. As I said had to ask did not want to assume the answer.

It's Steam that doesn't have the non-Supernova edition and never will. The 2 platforms are totally compatible because there is only one set of GalCiv IV files on your computer and they share them. Like I said I've had no problem switching between the two befo
Are you trying to load an Epic save on Steam?
Was just reading the error message when I answered at first. You are trying to play an Epic save on Steam? Just a little confused with your post. If yes that would also be a no go as the Epic version and Steam version are two different games. At least versions as Epic is not Supernova and at this time will not be ever. Again just confused by your post. I get that way very easily.
Saves from before 1.60 are not compatible with this update. For one there was a change to the custom Civ UI and also one of the settings UI
Didn't see it listed in the 1.60 Insiders updates log. https://www.galciv4.com/article/520697/v16-insider-build-only-changelog---galactic-civilizations-iv-supernova
Believe it was covered in posts on discord.

The captain keeps defecting to the pirates, and every time I kill it, it reappears in my fleet right where I killed it. Then the captain defects again... lather, rinse, repeat.
I figured-out why the citizens would not load - I only had 4 Control and the game apparently requires 5 Control to load a citizen onto a transport. On my next turn I tried to load a citizen and it worked, but my control went from 6 (4 + 2 from the new month) down to 1. Then I could not load another citizen onto another transport. I think the requirement of 5 Control to load a citizen onto a ship is excessive for the fol
I just noticed that it now costs 5 control to load a citizen on a constructor. What are you trying to accomplish with these changes? Slow down the expansion at the start of the game? There wasn't enough control to use Executive commands as it was. Did you add some source of control points that we're not aware of? This change needs to go in the trash bin asap IMHO.
It was changed to help the AI as
Hi Everyone, Sorry if this topic has been discussed before, I'm new to the game and was wondering if there is a way to warn of alien ships in my space without starting a war? I've used the diplomacy and most of the time this works but sometimes I get ignored and they just head deeper into my territory. At this point I want to go and shoot them down but I have to start a war to do so. Anyway to blow the invad
1. The setting for # of hostiles is broke it either does not set the # of Hostiles or does not set them to none when none is chosen Tool-tip seems correct ( I set mine to zero got a Pirate killed my prospector). 2.Tool-tip for Civ Proximity is same as for the # of Hostiles. 3. Tool-tip for Star frequency is the one that should be for #2 Until these minor glitches are fixed I will not be able to participate in the EA. I say minor glitches as I believ

I see others in sector under Civ Prox is the last option on the right the other side of the Galaxy? If not then moving the slider is ok but changing the settings is a solid no go. Of course this is a save breaker since the UI changes,
