V 0.6 Playing as the Xeloxi, the Pirates do indeed attack me.

The Test version got updated today. If you are playing on Test, and loaded a save game, that might cause a problem (anomalies no longer give popups).
I think he is saying that when you pick a colonize and pick and event it would be EXTREMELY helpful to be able to see the stats of the world you are picking an event for. It’s in all caps because it should be. Every player may not have this issue but those of us who do it would be a HUGE quality of life increase. I don’t know how hard this would be to do I ain’t a coder or programmer I jus
Either that, or the +10% to manufacturing applies to offset the decay on a colony? That would work fine too.
When I send out a Colony Ship expansion, sometimes I get 3 colonies being created in a turn. At this point, I am saying "no" to even when I do to colonize, and then do them one at a time. This is some micromanagement that could be resolved, if when colonizing a planet, one got to see the planet stats (class, resources, special) before looking at the colonization options screen (does this option matter? Will it ever possibly be a core world?) than
Not sure if this is a bug, or intended... but if I build a manufacturing zone, upgrade it to level 3, destroy it and put Elon's Lift on that land (assuming some other culture hasn't built it first) it is at a level +3 (+7.5%) just for the planetary upgrades (not including tile boni, or adjacencies). This is powerful.
Just to respond to a few comments ... I like the new adjacency schema. It rewards "patches" of inherently synergetic zones, without creating a terrible malus on having something else next door. The "upgrade all of this type" planetary project is extremely intuitive, and keeps micromanagement down. What some don't realize... if (for example) entertainment districts are built, and upgraded to a level +2, all new entertainment districts are automatically at at l
I am implementing a population cap of 1 on ungoverned colonies.
I'm so happy to hear this, I've been overly careful about colonizing class 2 planets for the food balance.
XP from fleets with a survey ship do go to all ships in the fleet (not split, each gets the full amount). Though, I think the survey choices for +10xp go only to the survey ship itself (not 100% sure on that). The game auto-designs new ships when appropriate new techs are researched. I generally go in and design my own anyway. I like to do a quick surge of expansion and then settle in with both military and resources (food/cash), and then repeat. I think t
Additionally, the bonus from having Harmony Crystals built on your planet is not applied anywhere.
I've rarely used the battle viewer. I don't mind having them on the hex map, so long as they don't take too much time. I do certainly agree that pop-ups shouldn't block seeing where a scout was killed.
@SSStreetFighter - you have more tutorials than I realized. I'll take a look. Glad you have plans for more.
Each citizen has a happiness icon on the lower right of their image. Hover over that to see their happiness stats. Each citizen must be checked separately, but most of the deviations will be due to species or expectations. (edit) sorry I misread the question. I would love to see colony happiness stats as well.
I manged to interact with them in the 0.55 release, but is there no way to attack them or invade their planet?
You can attack them, but attacking their planet if there are no ships stationed won't do anything. Their home world is a Core planet, and requires a Transport ship to invade.
I like playing the long game. Influence brings wealth, banks bring corruption. Will there come a time when my dream comes true?
How the Yor are pretty easy: - very low food requirements (only needed for organic citizens) - colony ships are practically free ( 20 command points every 5 turns ) - extreme colonization from the start (extreme planets have far more bang for the colony ship) My first actual citizen build out of Iconia is a constructor. Usually for Durantum, but if I see a Promethium I'm going straight for it.
I don't think you should need a tech or resources to build new Yor. It doesn't make sense to me. The Yor should have been able to make new Yor units in the eons they have existed. They shouldn't need new tech. Likewise, the resources needed to build new Yor don't exist on the Yor homeworld. How could have they survived without such resources? Edit: An idea I have, I think it would make sense for The Yor to start with the ability
Quoting LORD-ORION, reply 31 It sucks that Steam won, I hated being forced into it in order to play Civ5 and Skyrim. I hate Epic exclusives too, and can't help but wonder if it is more harmful in the long run for a developer to take the money. I have one g

I get the same error, and have been ever since I started. This is why my profile is a wireframe. And let's be clear. I don't need "try another browser" or "make sure the specs are right" because I've been here since '17 and I've tried on several occasions. Fantastic that it works for you. For some of us it does not.
I've been getting 50 control for reduce crime as well.
it looks to me like tourism is at exactly 1gc. So a 10% tourism improvement gives a flat 0.1 I'm sure it will be fleshed out.
Oh how I love getting a planet with these. But considering how they are major components in economic expansion, there should be a way to get them from other than planetary production.
I'd love to make researching Tourism a thing. I know it is difficult to balance, so I'm being patient. But are there any ideas out there?
What does the +1 to happiness mean, in the end? I avoid getting the green crystals because there is no effect. I mine the Harmony xtals because they are useful. But maybe a 3% global happiness would be nice?
