This is another one that I have previously reported, but since it is still happening in 1.05, I am reporting it again. When I met the Corporate Sector, a popup window appears letting me know who I met and asking me to choose an option for what I wanted to do. I chose the option to trade with them, the Trade window opened and I could start adding items to be traded. The bug is that the research cost of the items you are offering does not appear in the upper right-hand corne

I think I have reported this before, but it just happened again in 1.05 so I am reporting it again. I click on the icon to go to the next turn. The technology selection screen appears. I select "Collector Drones", which has a cost of 1 Drones (see first screen snapshot below) I click on the "Done" button and nothing happens - I am stuck in the technology selection screen and the only way out is to kill the process from the operating system. <
The first screen snapshot below shows what the Endless Emporium faction looks like without a leader assigned. It shows a Bazaar Discount of 0.08. What does that mean? The second screen snapshot shows what the Endless Emporium faction looks like with a leader assigned that has desired traits. The Bazaar Discount went to 0.14. What does that mean? Also note that the values at the top of the box are rounded and show no apparent change with or without the l
gypsy2299, I started this game 2 days ago (Friday, 8/5) and I am running the current test version (1.05.351507).
I have noticed that AI-controlled civilizations will send fleets of ships WITHOUT a survey ship to attack ship graveyards. The result of this is that I can collect the contents of the ship graveyard with one of my survey ships without having to fight any defenders. The first screen snapshot below shows that an Onyx Hive fleet is going to attack a ship graveyard on their next turn (see the first screen snapshot below to see how I can see where they are going). The third s
I was just presented with the window to select the next item to research and thought that the months to complete number was very interesting for the Mass Manipulation option (56 months) vs. the Intermittent Suspension option (4 months) (first screen snapshot below). The Technology Library shows that Mass Manipulation requires 3,693 units of research just to increase Kinetic Attack by 10% (second screen snapshot below) while Intermittent Suspension only requires 258 units of research to
This issue applies to the current test version (1.04.347661) as shown here: As I have mentioned in a previous post, the game allows players to build customized versions of prototype ships like the Praxis. Players can then queue-up as many of these customized versions in as many of their shipyards as they want. Once the first ship is finished, you can no longer
Thank you for the explanation, Old-Spider. It would be nice if missile attacks gave more information about the results of the attack. It does not need to be as detailed as the Battle Viewer, but something that shows what was attacked, the strength of the attack, the strength of the defence, and the resulting damage incurred. Right now, you fire your missiles, then hover over the target and see if the hit points went down.
I am a big fan of missile attacks and have used them extensively. One thing that I have noticed and do not understand is that Onyx Hive shipyards appear to be impervious to missile attacks. I have attacked the shipyards of many other civilizations with missiles and the missiles have done damage, but not those of the Onyx Hive. The first screen snapshot shows that I have 2 fleets next to an Onyx Hive shiyard. It also shows that I have used my missle attack for this tu
I have noticed that there is a wide variability in the effect on Loyalty for a leader when it is assigned as a Governor of a planet. For example, the 3 screen snapshots below show the loyalty for 3 of my governors: Asi The Dim, Jorg The Cautious I, and Mako The Round. Notice that Asi's loyalty penalty for having to manage things is -14 while it is only -6 for Jorg. Also notice that the benefit Asi gets for having "the same ideology" is +10 while the penalty Mako gets for hav
I have no inside knowledge, I am only speaking from a lot of experience looking at battle logs. Setting aside the whole issue of how damage is calculated (which needs a LOT of work), what I believe is happening is the following: at the start of each round of combat, each ship selects a target the algorithm for selecting a target does not appear to limit the number of ships targeting a single enemy ship based on how many ships are likely to be needed to destroy
I have played many games as different cultures and one of the things I have noticed (and posted on before) is that, in the Factions tab of the Leaders screen, not all of the faction descriptions contain text explaining which leader traits provide benefits and/or costs. Some of the factions do specify which traits provide benefits/costs (see screen snapshots 2 - 4 below), but some do not (see first screen snapshot below.) Please assign someone to review the text for all factions
I want to report another instance of the game saying one thing with words while saying the opposite is true with data. The screen snapshot below came up saying "Tistria Geur, governor of Suhail IV, has done a poor job of curtailing criminal activity on their planet.". However, when you hover over "Suhail IV" to see the data for that planet, it shows that Crime is at 0%. I would think that, if you are going to accuse a governor of doing a poor job of curtailing criminal activ
I colonized a Precursor world that had Precursor Satellites (first screen snapshot below). As I colonized it, a window popped-up asking me how I wanted to study the Precusor Sattelites. When I hovered over the first option (second screen snapshot below) a popup appeared showing what I would get for that option and it was very clear that the benefit would apply to ALL ships and ALL worlds. When I hovered over the third option (third screen snapshot below) it says "+ 20% resea
I have noticed a couple of things when trying to design a ship that seem odd. The first screen snapshot below shows the description for "Hull Support". At the top it says "+4 Hit Points" but right below that it says "+ Hit Points 6". Is it 4? Is it 6? Is it something else? The second screen snapshot below shows the description for "Hull Reinforcement". At the top it says "+4 Hitpoints and +20% Hit Points" but at the bottom it says "+ Hit Points 6.
Thank you, Old-Spider. I did not know those sections could collapse and expand. I must have accidentally clicked on the arrow and collapsed that section.
This is a bit of an odd one. I had the ability to produce modules in my shipyards, but now I do not. The first screen snapshot below shows what I see. The "Manufactured Goods" heading is visible and the scroll bar shows that I am at the bottom, but I cannot see the "Produce Modules" option. I saved the game to send it to you, but after restarting the game and loading the saved game, I can once again produce modules as shown in the second screen snapshot below. <
I am playing the latest test version and I want to bring up an issue that has annoyed me in every version up to and including this one. The issue has to do with trying to move a ship one cell when you are zoomed-out to what I call the icon view. The first screen snapshot below shows what a ship looks like in icon view. The second screen snapshot shows what a ship looks like when you zoom-in to what I call the graphic view. When you are in graphic view, you can righ
By the way, I am playing the latest test version:
I am playing a game with version 1.04 and have a save that demonstrates a couple of issues, but the primary one is an issue with a battle that takes place, but afterwards appears to have not taken place. The save is located here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/2k1a7h0qeib64el/Battle%20Bug.GC4Sav?dl=0 After you load the game go to the planet named "Dratha". You should see something like this
The Avernus command ship is supposed to heal 100% after each battle (which it usually does), but after attacking a Manti shipyard, it did not. The following screen snapshot shows that the hit points are only 24, but should be 96. The fact that moves available are 12/12 proves that I am at the beginning of the next turn. I have uploaded a save to DropBox that should allow you to replicate this issue. The save is located here: <a href="https://www.dropbox.com/s
Thank you for the explanation. I will watch the hit points for the ships that do not get to choose an upgrade.
When I create a mining starbase the only upgrade option is Mining Drones (which is correct), but after I take that upgrade option, a greyed-out option for a Xeno Archeology Lab appears (first screen snapshot below) even though there are no relics within range of the starbase (second screen snapshot below). I do not know why this upgrade option appears, but I do not believe it should. Please take a look at this. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/64/79/6479257/2ead7
When I look at a Battle Report (first screen snapshot below) I see little green arrows pointing upwards next to my ships. I have assumed that those green arrows mean that my ships have gained enough experience to be upgraded. However, when I exit the Battle Viewer and look at the ships in the fleet, the only ship that can be upgraded is my survey ship. This has been true for many of my fleets that have won battle after battle and none of the non-survey ships have gotte
I have noticed that ships do not immediately gain the ability to upgrade after gaining enough experience. It appears that the ship has to move or wait for the next month. The first screen snapshot below shows that my Instigator has 26 experience immediately after gaining 5 experience for surveying an anomaly. It also shows that the experience necessary for the next level is 26. However, I cannot upgrade my Instigator. The second screen snapshot shows that, af
