on the cursorXP site of stardock you will find a free program called anyutil, that will convert all your animated gif files into the png format

I like comics where you can have a laugh...Garfield...what about walt's snowwhite cartoon Somehow it seems to me there has been put more effort in older comics. I loved Buck Danny and Blueberry, and Kapitein Rob.. </A
I heard today on the radio that within 50 years the foodsupply for the worldpopulation will be insufficient....

a free pizza, ok, but a free car...
Interesting, if you know the program crashes or can crash, why you don't take precautionary steps like saving to a helpfile if 'chapters'are finished.. Today my cursorXP crashed..oh bugger..didn't think that program would crash...I have had crashes in DesktopX, and a lot of other stardock progs, but do I swear at stardock...no..I still like them. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 AL
Thanks carlitus and greenreaper I'll have a try with that crush proggie
Thanks Paxx I'll try.
Thanks for the fix Jafo Let me say in this thread then that all comments are welcome when reviewing what has been accepted by the moderators/admins... The more the better...When I started to upload some cursors Paxx was there <i
Hmmmmm yep, good points made So...maybe the conclusion could be: the more a work is rated the more accurate the opinion about that specific work will be...Now it is to think about how many rates have to be given to be accurate 2 rates per work..hmmm bit subjective...the more rates, the less subjective? Oh and Jafo.
Jafo, I would agree with you in what you say there, if....there are at least 20 rates given...look at what paxx said about the amount of rates per work Just something to think about....And by typing this, it is bedtime
yep, friendly discussion. Love exchanging views. Good one again Paxx...I don't have to add anything new on this point. One thing to Migellito, If you thought I would ask people what they think of my work on exhibitions, I don't do that I hear the comments and smile. To some of my close friends comments are very important, again, in order to improve. Ratings do not give an incentive to improve. It's just
paxx, words right out of my mouth.. I too have said what I think about these systems...and I think also Davad70 is right.
Criticism without saying why isn't a valid one...It's just because of the consequences, because there will likely a debate about it. When I exhibit work and someone says : "It sucks" I shrug my shoulders...If someone says "wow brilliant" I do the same.
Aaaah, I have to correct myself about the displaying. You can edit your account and choose displaying ratings with 1 and higher...
Objectively speaking T-man, what is the true idea behind ratings..Is it the popularity? I understand popular skins attract visitors and that's where you can commercialize other peoples work. I wouldn't mind if I were a payed skinner. But since I like to share what I create it is a bit sour getting a 3 so that it will not be displayed (or was that a bug too). ROFL I have to agree with Paxx's thought about criteria for rating. In galleries you are able (if you are qualified) to see whether a w
As far as I know, skinbrowser is not needed...
Oooops werewolf...I misunderstood richard, thought he used another program...yep checked it, and it works. Thanks for telling me twice and having the patience
Good point Adni ...How would you feel if I would give you some hints on your work, where I think you could improve. I am just a non profit author...Hypotheically question, but very curious how you deal with positive criticism from non-established people
Or at least think about something similar. As I stated in the comment above yours: Generally ratings and downloads will measure the popularity of a work, in my opinion it doesnt say much about quality which seems to be the argument of having rates and download countings.
Well wise old man, if that is the case, maybe that could be implemented then because it can't be abused in that way
As I would like to compress my PNG files better, maybe someone here can explain or advise me how to do that. I don't own Photoshop, maybe there is something around that does the trick for me...Any idea's?
My guess is ratings can prevent works to be displayed if they got a low rating. I have no problems with low ratings, but then I would want to know why and want to have objective comments how to alter the work and make it better, so it can be displayed. That's the only thing that counts for me if it comes to ratings Migellito. Anyone that gives a low rating without giving comment...well...that's a bit frustrating at the least and I treat them as non-rated (although the rate is effected, hence the
Paxx, I agree And Adni, patpat, friendly tap on your shoulder..Don't worry be happy
