Shouldn't it say +1 Colony ship?

You can please most of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time [e digicons]}:)[/e]
I know not allowing Civs to spend money in a trade that made them go negative was fixed in the basic game, but it seems that you need to look at this in Supernova.
Why is the Diligence value of recruited Leaders dropping by 50%?
Why would I be blocked from this choice?
I absolutely believe people have trouble with epic. I was happy to see that supernova was going to be stand alone on steam. So I grabbed it - well thats the way it is with galciv, I just buy. Course while it was downloading I noticed that people who had gc4 on epic could get supernova for $16. Oops, that is a lot less than $42! So I refunded my steam purchase. And it went smoothly, wh
I think the wording on these needs to be changed. "+1 xx.name ideology Trait Choice" should read "+1 Culture point" under the new Supernova mechanic for working the Culture Tree.
Still can't retrain original settlers to workers. Also, if you put an original settler in prison, all the choices to retrain them are greyed out, so they're in limbo.
Thanks for the update Ramma. As you can see, everyone's eager to try out a "bugged" game [e digicons]}:)[/e]
No test version on Epic like you did on the base game?
You guys are like rust, you never sleep [e digicons]}:)[/e]
Just a note that the picture for the Manufacturing Capital in Supernova is exactly the same as the one for Elon's lift. Overall I really like the new pictures.
A few observations/questions: I seem to be getting the Praxis/Prospector event from ship graveyards repeatedly, even after I build the ships. They don't show up as buildable in the shipyard, but I do get the prompt. Kernwaffen - This hasn't changed from the base game. We noted it in the Alpha/Beta, but the Devs never addressed it. It really is annoying especially since
Really like the new Custom Civ generator. The new Research system is also a great improvement.
Hey Scifi1950, I was not around back then, so could you maybe explain, what exactly do you mean? (Or link the post) Do you mean the 4 factions from the leaders screen?
Yes, that's what I'm referring to. Adding the ability to pick which 4 specific factions, not just a block of 4, are used by our custom Civ would help make them more unique.
Game definitely has a different feel to it. So far I give it a thumbs up.
Way back at the Gal Civ IV Alpha, I asked if you could add Factions to the settings for Custom Civs. I thought it got a favorable response, but it was never implemented. IMHO Supernova would really benefit from this upgrade with all the emphasis on being able to craft unique new civs so easily.
I usually find them next to home planets
Yes, that's how it worked in the base game, but they changed the frequency of relics appearing so that doesn't happen in Supernova.
So here there are 2. I'd probably expect there to be 3 to 4 so I'll bump that.
Is that from a small universe setting? If I'm playing max size would that account for the odds going down for any one sector seeing a relic?
Is this what you are talking about?
Yes this is the "Relics" we're talking about. I'm in my 4th game and have never found one in my home system. Just seems a little too "Rare" for my taste. When things are rare and offer powerful buffs, the lucky Civ gets an advantage I can only overcome
I think "not common" is a bit of an understatement if I don't find at least 1 in my home system. Doesn't matter how powerful they are if you never find one. Also tends to make some of the Precursor technologies not very helpful unless you find a relic. I really didn't think they were that over abundant in the base game. Maybe dial down the bonus and make them a little more common would be a good compromise.
Now, the question is, should we make the citizens smaller as you get more OR scroll them?
Scroll, but I'd really like to be able to click on the citizen box and have it expand to show all available citizens, their stats, and a single "what are stats good for" menu at the bottom. This could also be used to solve the issues that Elhoim mentioned on the screen to pick a citizen to load on Colony or Constructor. &
Old-Spider - I have 12 citizens in the screen above and nothing I did allowed me to access the other citizens.
I have discovered almost 100% of my home sector and see zero relics. There is no slider for them in the game setup either.
Cropping with scrolling not working
