Ok ama, i dont back up my files or data regularly, as i have nothing of great importance on my comp. I have been using ME since it came out in 2000 (its crazy i kno). I have only used 2.75 GB of my C drive and i have 15.8 GB available. Also, i def dont want any of the ME bugs to get over into XP. im gonna go research the whole clean install process as well as FAT and NTSF file systems.

I was just talkin to som1 abt the upgrade, and he sed that completely uninstalling ME and then installing XP would require a reformat (which i knew) but i think this is too hard for me to do so i was wondering what can happen and wat is wrong with just installing XP without uninstalling ME first???? Thanks

Im considering upgrading my POS ME to XP, and i went to www.windows.com to get info on it. My comp meets all the qualifications except for the fact that i cant find my processor speed (MHz). Where would i look to find this info?? Thanks
