Dorian, If you've updated to 2.7, can you confirm if you are still getting the excessively slow tooltip rendering? The problem wasn't the tags, but the output spew to debug log which should be fixed now.

I suspect that one drive may be restoring the files. Can you try disabling one drive for the My Games\GalCiv4 director?

Are you deleting the ships uring a game session or from the main menu? Do you have steam cloud enabled?

This sounds odd. Do you happen to have a save game from this session?

Gehanii, If you have disabled that option, then its likely a different problem. Can you send me your save game?

Did you try disabling ”Show All Fleets”?

Okay we are investigating. Until we have a fix, you can disable showing all of the fleet lines as a workaround .Under game options >Interface> make sure ”Show All Fleets” is disabled
