Artemis ??? hmm.... I see some of the other Solar System planets - Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn. But Artemis?

FYI - I believe the values below from GlobalDefs.xml govern this "feature". Is the AI losing track of the "GetOffMyLawn" flag - or - simply ignoring it? <
I think I found the Loyalty range in GlobalDefs.xml Appears I guessed correctly. [e digicons]|-)[/e] <div style="color: #cccccc; backgrou
Hmmm..... Wonder what I need to do to fix my achievements?
I believe I found the data definitions for these two weapons (see below). Yep, they look to have identical wpn stats to me. Which begs the question - Do we really need 2 different weapons having the same stats? Can the redundancy be eliminated - or - the stats adjusted to be different? Lasers</InternalName>
It is not uncommon, around mid-game, to have 4 - 5 different Alien Civs all in various states of transgression of your borders. It is absolutely maddening trying to keep up with these violators and cycle through the diplomatic dialog to insist they withdraw from your sectors, turn after turn. Come on Devs, if you are looking for a "un-fun" game mechanic to fix - look no further!
Never really understood why a Leader takes a loyalty hit when assigned to govern a planet. I also expected it to increase, rather than decrease their loyalty.
I have been playing GC4 for a while now. As previously meantioned, I purchased via Epic. Also I am playing with no Mods, other than the official Super Nova Mod. However, Achievements are still not working for me. Have Achievements been implemented?
Let's talk about Leader loyalty.... It is an interesting mechanic, yet doesn't feel complete. It seems that when Leaders are generated, there is a random loyalty value assigned. (have no details on the precise range of values but seems to be somewhere in the 30 - 90ish range) Assigning a Leader as a Planet Governor seems to incur a loyalty penalty for some reason. Maybe they hated having to relocate to a remo
Nothing seems to permanently delete in game. I have to delete the custom ship design file from My Games / GalCiv4 / Design folder, before it is permanently removed. I am not playing via steam, but purchased via epic.
I have noticed the same thing and have to go find the ship templates and delete them from my user data files.
I play rather late at night and have the volume settings turned down. Everything is ok, EXCEPT for when I press the "Start" button, below. Whatever button-press event that is being fired, the associated sound event is not using the configured volume settings.
I mispoke. I am aware that there exists some kind of event hook in the scripts. However, I rarely, if ever, see anything that results from these "background" traits -or- have any meaningful impact on the game. I cannot even remember the last time I saw an event triggered from one of these background traits. There is so much more going on that has a much higher priority on my attention. :)
I personally find this a major annoyance. Game prompts you that aliens are running through your sectors. You contact them and insist they leave. They reply and assure you they will. The aliens eventually leave. Then, 2 turns later they are running through your sectors again. But this time you can't reiterate that they leave again as it was too soon since the last time. ???
This may or may not be a bug. But either way it is very confusing as I cannot tell any difference between the two. I have spent some time and effort just looking at the screen, thinking.... - "I cannot tell that these are any different..." - "Certainly I must be missing something...." If there is any difference, it is not obvious (to me). If not, was that intended?
Let's discuss leader traits and icons. Remember back when the Leaders only had "game-impacting" traits? But somewhere along the lines, somebody thought it would be cool to add all these "background" traits. And then somebody thought it would be even more cool to not use any standard color or icon coding for these "background" traits. Honestly, 90% of the time I do not care about rather 'they were chased by wolves as a child' - or - 'their mom bea
I was wondering about that, as I finally found a log file which looked like it was reading version info from the save game file. Debug Message: DLC Supernova Debug Message: DLCSystem finished loading data. Debug Message: CGalaxy::LoadGameObjects: Using object ptr list for lookup table Debug Message: LoadCustomShipDesigns(): INFO: ShipDesignDirectory=C:\Users\markl\OneDrive\Documents\My Games\GalCiv4\Designs Debug Message:
Appears the game has been updated from v2.51 -> v2.6. I will need to load that save game file and see. Nope, latest fix did not change anything. The issue still persists. When I hit the "Eject All Ships" button, it looks like it tries to eject it as the icon briefly blinks. If I knew where the log files were located, maybe I could provide more info?
Ultimately, I had to decomission the Star Base in order to get my ship back. :(
I tried docking other ships and doing the "Eject All Ships" again. All the ships except "The Nail" were ejected. :(
GalCiv Supernova v2.51 So far, I cannot get 'The Nail' to disembark. I have tried 'Eject All Ships', as well as saving and reloading. But my ship appears stuck at the starbase now. :( https://1drv.ms/i/s!ApomLrihV-7hgoVcyvdE8pwvXCLslg?e=CqmQXB
Yor are the robots right? Don't know how they can benefit from a "growth" bonus, as I thought you had to manually build Yor pop. Right?
Yes, I am aware of how DirectX 11/12 works. These were pretty much the default settings. I did enable VSync afterwards and even went in to Nvidia console and limited FPS to 20. This did help to reduce GPU usage to around 75% - still too high for a 2D game. There is more graphics being rendering in Civ VI and never notice these issues.
There is something not right with how hard GC4 is pushing video cards. Come on, this is not Baldur's Gate 3!
Don't truly understand what is going on, but I ran the game today on 2 different systems and it pushed both Nvidia video cards to 90% or more. This is way too high for a 2D game. One system was barely a year old and had 32Gb of Ram. Some serious GPU optimization is needed. These are the in-game graphic se
