Wow. I've never actually SEEN someone admit to pirating a game on a game publisher's forum before.

I was heavily involved in MOO3, and everyone is right in the end. They should have made MOO2.5 but were obsessed with "revolution, not evolution." Big (*&@(#*& mistake. I played mutliple, multiple times more GC than MOO3. GC was great and I'm so looking forward to GC2 it's not even funny. Moreover, honestly, as great as MOO2 is, how many times do you just Auto (or later "z") to just get combat over with. I think, in any given game against the AI, there's about 3 space battles p
I gotta say that I'm still not a big fan of ship design in GalCiv2. And this is after designing tons of ships in other games...personally, I still think the "design by plopping bits onto the frame" idea is not a great one. It's not terrible or even bad, it's just not great. I can live with it though, especially with the option of just double clicking on the part to have it automatically added. The "extras" thing still doesn't do much for me, but that just might be a personal preference. I d
I would concur. The main screen doesn't seem as user-friendly to me as GalCiv1. I'll have to go back and look at GalCiv 1 again to figure out exactly why, but something is definitely not quite as nice.
Sorry to jack the GalCiv 2 threads to talk about MOO3, but let's face it, it's not exactly competition these days is it? I was wondering if you have a list of fan mods that make MOO3 into that 7/10 game that you mentioned. I was heavily involved with MOO3, and perhaps one of the most sorely disappointed when it eventually came out (well, I had the betas, all the way from the "alphas", and I knew it was going to be rough going, but I still had hope). Ahhhhhh, that makes a lot more sense. See, I thought the current ship style WAS the human style. It's totally alright for bizarre alien creatures to have weirdo ship designs, but they look really weird for humans. I am satisfied.
Hi everyone, I just wanted to say something about the ship design because if I don't, I'll regret it. Frankly, and this MIGHT have to do with the textures being out, but I tend to doubt it, I think the ships have WAAAY too much "stuff" on them. Also, and another poster recently said this, I don't think the "extras" are as cool as an idea as everyone may have first thought. By and large, the extras are HUGE, bigger than most of the actual components. If
