As I play a lot of MP games, I would firstly like to see the current desync/crash issues fixed for MP. Secondly, I would like to see AI players and the Sandbox mode re-added to the game, when stable.
Good news about the fixes to the MP desync issues, Derek. Any chance that V 0.95 can be released by Noon Monday (PST), so that my friend and I can continue our weekly MP game with the new version? I will report any remaining MP desyn issues then. Thanks

My friend and I continued our saved MP game, using V 0.92. We played another 40 turns, or about 4 hours today. We played over my LAN at my house. We did not have any Queries Lobby Failure messages this session. We had a total of 7 crashes/freezes in this gaming session: One case where the game froze and I had to use Ctl_Alt_Del to exit to the desktop One case where the game froze, but I was able to access the Menu and immediately load the last saved game<

Thanks for the prompt reply, tid242 and SchismNavigator. I did continue the last saved MP game, as a solo game for some more turns, but had no more freezes during AI turns. Good to know that this issue is being worked on.
A friend and I played a Sandbox MP game of GC4 over the Internet tonight, using latest V 0.9. This was a game with 2 humans and 6 AI players. For the first 1.5 hours we had no game problems. I have waited a long time for MP to be implemented in the GC4 beta. I had assumed that it would be similar to MP in GC3. I am not pleased with the available game type modes in MP games . I began a game with 2 humans and 4 AI players. I picked Agenda as game type. I picked Starburst - 5 sectors as galaxy type. In my starting sector, the other human is only halfway across the sector from me. In addition, there are at least two other AI players in this sector. So out of six
Good post, tid242. A friend and I played about 4 hours of a MP game on my LAN last Monday. We had at least 3 disconnects and two crashes with a pop-up window. We don't like to play the three modes. We are asking for the standard sandbox game, similar to a solo game, where you pick your victory conditions. DG
I see that there are three choses of scenarios/campaigns for MP games now. Will there be a fourth choice - a vanilla sandbox game, where you setup the number of human and AI players and races, the galaxy size and parameters, and allowing you to pick from the standard victory choices?

In my 0.65 game, I started the mission. Many enemy ships popped up. I killed them all over several turns. The mission shows the first two conditions as met. However, I cannot find the Orb and there is no obvious Tear in Space to enter to find the Orb. When I click on the downward arrow in the mission conditions box, nothing happens. How do I find the Org and finish the mission? Thanks
I like the new Ideology system, but it seems to take too long between getting a culture point to pick. In my Large galaxy game, it is now turn 141. I have 5 cores and 23 colonies. Only two of these colonies were conquered. I am favouring Opportunity - I now have 5 available traits to unlock. I have only had two culture points to spend so far. Seems low to me.

Thanks for that info, DivineWrath. Do tiny ships have one slot for defensive modules too? I haven't researched defensive modules yet. Does anyone know how many slots of each type that a small or medium hull has: weapons, defense, other, special.
In my game, I have a Ship Upgrade Notification icon at the top left of my screen. When I click on the icon, nothing happens. It should take me to the ship capable of being upgraded. I have to manually click on every ship in sequence looking for the one ship which can be upgraded. I did find a ship with 5 different available upgrades. In the GC3 ship designer module, the total available mass for components, was displayed for a given ship. You could try adding attack, defense, or other modules, until you went over the available mass limit. You could tell by mousing over each component, if it would fit on the current build. In the GC4 ship designer module, I do not see an indication of the total available mass for components, and a rating for each available component as to its mass. I can just bli
