Thanks for that prompt reply, Draver. I would like to see a few more Survey Ships available as I only have one, by turn 36. The game does appear to allow you to put Flag survey modules on any ship design, but you are only allowed one such module per player. Perhaps increase this limit to 3? In my example, my Combat Rating is 3, but my Kinetic Attack is 4.<

I am an old GC3 player. I also bought the first edition of GC4, when it was offered. I just got the discount to buy Supernova. I like it so far, but I have the following observations: I am played large sectors, with a few sectors. I have myself and 7 AI players. I set the AI players to Distant. However, I see two AI players within three systems of me. Is this just bad luck or is the initial spacing of players not working? When designing a small Frigate class, I have 8

In GC 4, we cannot play our custom civilizations in MP games. Is this possible in the Alpha release of Supernova?
I own the base game on Epic Games. To purchase the Alpha version of Supernova will cost me C $65 plus tax - same as buying the base game. No discount?
Great list of upcoming changes, Frogboy - thanks. I really like the Tech research changes. In too many of my GC4 games, I am stuck without the Survey Ships tech for way too long. This tech should be fairly easy and fast to research for all races. I hope that this change comes sooner than later, this year.

My friend and I continued our Sandbox MP game for 3.5 hours today. Not one crash or disconnect!
My friend played 40 turns, over 4 hours of a MP Sandbox game last Monday. We had only 3 disconnects/crashes.
Played a MP game with a friend on Tuesday. No custom civs were available in the MP setup.

My friend and I stared a new Agenda MP game, using V 1.03. We played about 45 turns, or about 3.5 hours today. We played over my LAN at my house. We did not have any Queries Lobby Failure messages this session. We had a total of five crashes/freezes in this gaming session, after about the first 1.5 hours of play. Thanks, Frogboy. My friend and I have our MP sessions Monday afternoons. If you could please add the Sandbox mode into the MP game mode by then, we will give it a good 4 hour test.
As for conquering undefended colony worlds, I agree that a tiny ship should not be allowed to capture a colony world. I suggest that, at the very least, a small hull should be a prerequisite for these captures. Or you could require the attacker to have a minimum number of logistics points in the attacking fleet - say 4+.
This has been mentioned before, but I would like to be able to minimize the triple-choice pop-up screen that occurs when an event or colonization appears. As the choices affect the Ideology Point acquisition and distribution, this would allow users to check their current Ideology Point distribution before making the event choice.
This is a known issue. About 3 weeks ago, the Devs removed the AI players from the MP mode, as the diplomacy with them was causing game crashes. Also, they removed the other MP modes, such as Sandbox, My friend and I have a MP session once a week, and have had constant MP issues. As an update, we started a new MP game with 0.99. We played a full 3 hours without any disconnects or freezes. It appears that the issue was our old saved game with 0.95. Derek, could you please re-introduce Sandbox mode into the MP game. We will give it a playtest. When that is working, then you could then add AI players, thanks.
A friend and I started a MP session today, with V 0.99. We loaded a saved game from last week 0.95. We got only part way through the Terran Alliance turn when the game froze on me and I could not hit the arrow to advance the turn. I could exit to the main menu. We tried this 3 times. I even saved part way through the turn, but the same freeze happened, even after re-loading the new saved game. I noticed that my Gaze ship had no icon showing - only a black box - in the fleet disp
