Maybe merchants in your own territory could offer more than 10% of an items value. Say 50%. I can understand that an enemy merchant would want to cheat you, but even allied and friendly merchants could offer 30%.

Line of sight in Fallen Enchantress Stardock Forums

It's probably here somewhere, but I would lie to see line of sight a factor on the tactical screen. If there are trees in the way, an archer should have a hit penalty unless another unit has line of sight on the enemy. Same for long range spells (flame dart). Just a thought.
