For tower spammers in the middle area, Buff your towers, control the flags, get trebuchets, push them back, use the Exp flag route for backdoor entrance, crucible is won mainly by trapping your opponents, there are no routes of escape besides a townportal, and you can interrupt that with the right class.
If a Rook or multiple rooks tower the middle they lock down 2 out of 3 flags. Ergo they will have control

OK so assuming that the matchups are EXP based... how is this kind of matchup remotely fair? Both these games started out with 5 players in the connectivity window, they were NOT 6 player games. I play Pantheon almost exclusively and have been getting A LOT of Fortress mode matches so this has given me the chance to test out spit UB quite a bit and I gotta say... I'm not seeing what all the fuss is about. Oak can easily out-last and out-fight you, plus if he invests in shield he can even remove spit damage. Sedna can out-last you with healan gaemz and getting pounced every 5 seconds really starts to hurt... Regulus yeah I can see how spit/slow/grasp could own him...

The only way I see the underdog team winning is if the other team has poor team work and understanding of game mechanics EG. Feeding the undergod team creeps and kills, failing to buy flag locks, neglecting citadel upgrades/buying pointless ones. 2vs1, 3vs2 etc. is a horrible, horrible way to play in a ladder/tournament setting because it fails to take into account any of the game dynamics eg. More domigods = more map control = more money = more upgrades etc.&nbsp

Pantheon seems to be utterly FUBAR today. Out of about 10 attempts to start games, I have successfully started 2. 1 game worked fine as a 2vs2 match but the other ended up being a 3vs3 with 3 players against me + 2AI, obviously I quit that game. Majority of the games either never start due to players dropping/leaving during loading OR Demigod will crash when all players connect to eachother, I noticed this happened when it tried to match 5 players together instead of 4 or 6.

Obviously if you sit around long enough for the beast to close into melee range, you're not going to escape him but all the players that have ever given me trouble as a beast are the ones who know to GTFO of Dodge as soon as they see me closing in. Also; A high damage DoT is less dangerous than a high burst damage attack when kiting.

What is so good about grasp? The beast can't move while he is using it which leaves him vulnerable, the damage/HP transfer is inconsequential even in the early levels and the range isn't exactly fantastic. Plus unless you're playing a spit beast with 2+ mana items or a HoL, you will only have the mana for maybe 2 grasps max before you are OOM. And seriously complaining about plague? Only thing that is good for is stopping HoL.

Been attempting to play pantheon for roughly half an hour now, so far I have successfully started ONE game... which ended up being a 2vs1 against me on Crucible. Obviously I did not stick around to play that one. Every other attempt to play has resulted in load-screen-limbo due to a player dropping/leaving or soft-locks on the various menu screens.

If spit would not work against buildings... how would UB handle them? Or the Fortress game mode? I prefer to play an ooze based build whenever possible, however I quickly learnt that taking ooze over spit in Fortress mode is a sure-fire way to loose because I have almost no ability to push on towers or forts in the early game. Mid game it gets much easier with stacked health, armour mitigation and possibly crits but a spit beast needs mana items and therefor would be even le
Pretty, pretty please! 2v2s on Crucible are just no fun.
3vs3 on crucible would be even worse. That map needs to be taken out back and shot. Failing that, simply remove it from the pantheon map rotation. 3vs3 and 4vs4 pantheon (possibly with some kind of system where only 1 of each demigod could be used) would be pretty interesting imo, however I would like 2vs2 fixed and working fl

In my experience both Sedna and Oak can both stand up to UB pretty well with minimal minion support. Sedna will out-last you with constant heals and pounce spam, whereas Oak will wear you down with penitence plus they can always sucker punch you with Shield + HoL, which foul grasp cannot stop. On the point of HP stacking; Agreed it's pretty boring, items/gameplay needs balancing so that health stacking is simply one of many viable strategies, instead of bein

1. I did ask where you guys were from, I believe your response was someting along the lines of "your moms vagina". Indeed this seemed to be the hilarious and witty responce to anything I said in open chat. 2. I did not abandon my ally, I said that I found the lag intollerable and he agreed at which point I told him I was going to find another game, to which he responded "OK". If he took issue with my leaving I can only assume there was some kind of language barrier b

I have recently encountered this kind of problem myself. 2vs2 Pantheon game on cateract; I'm based in the UK, I had an average of 230 ping to both opponents (wouldn't tell me where they were from) and my team mate was from Germany - average of 90 ping. 3 of us had sim speed between 7-10 but one of my opponents had sim speed 4-5 pretty much from the very begining, I thought he might be the problem but his team mate said sim speed 4 should still be able to han

Attempting a dedicated armour-stack requires too many item slots to be worth-while, plus a lot of armour seems over priced imo. Just health-stack and enjoy the +armour rating you get from certain items as an added bonus.

At the end of the day all the effort they make isn't as important to me as the final result. If after all their efforts, the game still isn't fixed after 6months-1year then that will leave a very black mark against the developers and publishers and I'd be unlikely to purchase anything from them again. I just don't have the time or inclination for sitting around and waiting for something to be fixed "soon" or "in the near future".

Don't have any friends playing currently, so would probably end up having to face pre-mades with PUGs. 2. Still pretty new to the game, 90% of customs seem to be "NO NOOB", already been kicked from a few because of this. 3. I quite like the dynamics of Pantheon with light vs dark, which is p

For the past week I have consistently been matched with players with 400-500+ ping and it is absolutely ridiculous. The worst I have come across is being matched with someone with 1500 ping. Where was this guy, the Moon? I try to play at "peak" hours for my country (UK) to avoid getting matched with players in other hemispheres but these kinds of pings still seem very common. The game runs at 50% speed which effectively doubles the length of time it should take to complete a game,

From my experience a health stacked UB can be out-lasted by Oak and Sedna and maybe Erebus as well. Ooze UB struggles against tower rook and the ranged heroes early game without early speed items but if you have those then you're not really health stacking. I've also found that players making use of slowing skills/abilities/items can often cause problems for a health stacking ooze build.
*snip*another example in competitive gaming. It's just a shame that revealing regulus' mines becomes so pointless mid-late game. It's quite easy to position mines so that they cover the full width of a lane. The vision bonus is pretty awesome at the start of the game, although I agree with the ppl who have posted before me; later in the game I simply can't afford the inventory space.

This happened the other day in a Pantheon game on zikurat: Me as UB: What skill are you going to main, spit or ooze? I'll just pick whichever you don't. Team mate UB: Neither, I'm going with Bestial wrath. Me: ...As your primary skill? Team mate: Yep. Me: Oh lawd. Somehow we managed to win.
