I have researched the tech for Battleships over the course of several game restarts and I never get the option to build the bigger ships. Is there another tech I need to research? What am I missing? I have tried the Ship Designer, too, and the option is not available there either. TIA, Richard
I use rally points for this. I use them for marking areas where I know there's a pirate or monster base rather than good planets, but they can serve as markers for anything. It should be easier to set them though, IMHO. Currently you have to select a shipyard, click on its rally point icon, then select "Create a new rally point" and then click on where you want it.
Doesn't that make the ships produced the
Quoting Phlox1, reply 38 I like to play looking straight down like a board game. I hit the "4" key to change the map view, then hold down the middle mouse button while dragging to finish the job. Try "5".
Thanks... "4" d
I find the sector map view where we spend 90+% percent of our time really awkward unless I am zoomed out far further than I'd like normally. It was immediately off-putting when I started playing and now after like 10 hours in, it still bothers me. I think I know what the main problems are. Switch to icons at a much earlier zoom level When you zoom out the 3d models

I have no idea why this happened. It did not happen when playing the Terrans. Here is the save game link at OneDrive: https://1drv.ms/u/s!ArHiPrx6FEkziK4CDYoljAPLKxto4A?e=Li0eXB Thank you, Richard
New tooltips with delay control is great, but the tooltips are appearing under the cursor. So it is difficult to move between close together items (planets, citizens, etc), because I need to first scroll off of the tooltip.
Ditto. You beat me to it, AdamMG...
Quoting PogueMahone1973, reply 3 "Changed turns to weeks" that's too bad. The whole idea of starting on one planet and building a galaxy spanning empire over a time span of 5 or 6 years has always been immersion breaking for me in this series. The rest of the changes sound great

I have six artifacts showing on the map screen. The left-most one does not show a tooltip when hovering over it. I had to look it up on an old GC3 Wiki. Thank you, Richard

Please add the number of moves each ship has left in the Ships List (like in GC3). I like to use Rally Points as markers. They help me to remember things I need to do. I rarely use them as actual rally points. In GC3 I used to use them to mark defended anomalies. That is no longer needed in GC4, but when I find a stream location, I like to mark it ahead of time so I can prepare for the crossing when the techs are researched. That's one example... Thank you, Ric

Hi Devs, Please make it a priority to fix the lists' sorting algorithm. Make them "sticky". When I sort a list, I would like it to stay sorted that way when I return to the list. This goes for any and all lists. Give them a memory... please! Thank you, Richard
Haven't found any techs yet to reduce pollution (although IIRC the name of at least one implies it should do it) but I have found anomalies that gave me an artifact to reduce pollution by 20% on a planet. I'm not sure it matters much on a colony, though, as opposed to a core world.
Thanks, Publius
