Apologies for any duplication, but here is a list of annoying bugs: 1/ When you use automatic commands (Mine asteroids, Colonise, Survey, Explore) they do not work well across sectors - ships get stuck, colonise worse planets, or try to mine/survey the same thing. 2/ Dialogs still crash into each other - you will be in the middle of one such as starbases when another such as research jumps up - often leading to accidentally closing them and missing the information. All dialogs

This is still happening. Until today, I could fix it by rebooting - but now nothing helps.
ok I found the sliders now - setting them all to zero eliminates the icons :) I guess the default settings changed somewhere along the line? Or the meaning of the settings? Ah - but now, the features disappear entirely - I guess that's why the icons were suddenly kicking in much earlier than before? Features shouldn't disappear if icons are disabled - maybe the texture quality could drop though? I don't think it is easy to work out how to set the icon sliders - maybe a
I much preferred it before. It should be a setting (if it isn't already?) so the player can decide. You could zoom out about 5 times before everything changed to icons before, now it is 2 for most to change & 3 for everything - you can barely see a single star system before it changes to ugly icons now :( I used to be able to see a good chunk of the sector with only the edges being icons.
The map feels like the features become icons at a much lower zoom level than before - to keep the pretty appearance, I feel like I am zoomed in a lot more than I used to be?
When selecting opponents, there is no obvious way to scroll the list
Water is an excellent idea - aquatic improvements would balance worlds much more and give them more variety. Could be extended to other world-specific terrain types.
Leaders recruited from the assign governor list do not get discounts applied so are much more expensive
Speaking of artifacts, since they moved to the button bar, there is no obvious clue when you have a new one. Can they have a number much like the other buttons?
On the dragging a leader to a planet question above - this screen is very buggy at the moment. I am having to check the colony list regularly to find colonies I want to manage, and assign leaders to the planets directly on the map.
There still seems to be an issue whereby new planetary tiles appear off the map and seem to be inaccessible even though the planet says you can build.
Can modules be added to the galactic bazaar?
Shipyards need buttons to rearrange production the same as worlds. Should be able to put unlimited repeats on anything such as modules and missions.
In all sorts of combinations, a dialog will pop up and you will be about to interact with it when something else happens and another one pops over the top. Can dialogs be modal to stop things happening in the background?
Governor events seem to get stuck in a loop, so once they start, they appear most turns onward. If this is by design, can the dialog have a "please do not show this again"?
It is game breaking because you can never talk to the race again. It ALWAYS shows the same dialog and you can't close the dialog without making a selection.
When your treasury is in the red, and you receive money, going to the leader recruitment screen still shows cost in red.
game breaking bug - after completing research for a minor power, you can speak to them an infinite number of times for infinite control points.
As the ideology tree has been split, but the left side still only shows the major half, yo don't get a good view of points you may be able to spend in the other side - you have to click on each, rendering the available slots view less useful.
I had another random CTD today with no warning or reason. Reloading worked fine. Would it be possible to save the preferred zoom setting as a default?
Loving the updates - definitely going the right way. I'll post observations here as I hit them. The select race button still says "customize" - this is not intuitive - it should read select, next or continue. Can support be added for multiple saved faction settings? Starting gold feels too high now. I was able to hire 6 leaders out of the gate for a full compliment of ministers and commanders Why can't we use arrow keys to move the map?</li
On surveys, I disagree with a default as the value selected changes based on so many factors. I think they just need to be a LOT more varied, with the opportunity to acquire any material in the game. MAYBE a complex AI rule system like the FFXII battle control system might work?
I second the above. No screen should pop up automatically, with the possible sole exception of victory/loss. It is extremely annoying when you are about to interact with a window or do something and a popup suddenly blocks it. The player should be able to cycle through all battle results if they wish to do so, and there should be a turn battle summary to drive this.
--spoiler-- The Drengin are far too easy to kill. I just used the same scout fleet I was using on guarded anomalies and trounced them. Logistics was only at 25. On that note, unlimited ship upgrades seems heavily overpowered.
Just achieved a prestige victory! It was far too fast. I had barely begun to interact with aliens, and presumably won due to lots of starbases, pirate victories and colonies? I love the improvement to Ideology - you can see the impact of your decisions now. Most of the traits are pretty dull though, and control points are too hard to come by. I personally love the commander ships. Good variety and better than the Bazaar. I am having problems zooming and with st
