Tnx all. Had to del the association with WB as suggested. Took some time because, for some reason, XP just didn't want to do it. After a few reboots and tweaking around I finally got it to take. Think, after all this, I'm going to start using FF3. Is actually a little faster... :)

@DaveRI & Bebi Bulma: 1st DaveRI initially tried the right-click - no luck, just brought up the tab as primarily relates to 'image' issues as far as I can tell. Will give your second suggestion a try. tnx... :) 2nd Bebi Bulma - am using FF3. Read the initial notice on the compatibility probs between it & this site and haven't tried using FF3 here or on the primary SD.

Here's what's (copy from Impulse forum) worked, so far. for me. A lot of work, but... [I]OK... I decided to restart from scratch. Completely, or as much as possible for me, eliminated 'all' StarDock apps from my system (firewall and anti-virus disabled throughout process) using the following method: 1. Oddity here. Went in to Impulse on reading this thread and found CursorFX Plus shows as installed (Beta v2.01[b].041 even though I did not do an install today. Opened Impluse earlier to check forums, but that's it... History is no help since it shows only info for CFX+ v2.0.008. Also, on a side note, although I have the auto-archive selected in preferences there were no archived files when I checked yesterday. Had to manually archive to get any thing saved.

How do you find (or why don't they show) certain forums indicated on the left-side of the WinCustomize window? For instance, the 'CursorFX' forum indicated under 'WinCustomize Support'? Can't find it under the general listing of forums that show when I click on the 'Forums' tab at the top of the WinCustomize sub-window in SDC and if I click directly on the CursorFX entry in the list on the left all I get are a few old entries shown at the top of the page?

No problem. Know you'll get to the bottom of it sooner or later. Fwiw, have two systems. Both XP Pro SP3. Works on neither. Would there be a possibility of posting (some where) an older, known stable, version for those of us who are still having problems to revert to if we wish?
