I would hope that THIS TIME they have enough good sense to evacuate.
All we can do is hope. Not that it'll probably do a lot of good. There'll always be that select few (or many) who are willing to play the odds. And those'll be the ones you'll see on TV sitting on their roofs (assuming they still have one) begging to be rescued...

Running IconPackager v4.09[b].003. Have a .icl package that I want to import into IconPackager. Followed the basic instructions I could find - run IconDeveloper and save resultant file as .zip for import into IP. File generates an error of 'no iconpackage was found in file". Also looked in IconExplorer and didn't see any thing there that appeared to allow a save as an IP package. What program do you use to obtain a viable IP package?

I just finally got around to trying OD+. After playing with it for a very short while I found myself asking 'Where has this program been all my life?'. Great funtionality, marvey graphics, superb customization ability and ease of use. Seems to pretty much have it all. Now, if i can just find a way to get it to make coffee... :)

Where do you get your favorite skin add? Also, the ul for the desktop image is still broken. Continue to get 'upload successful/file corrupt' errors evey time I try to ul an image.

You guys up North hang in there. It looks like Fay's on her way to her 4th landfall.. Here on the SunCoast we've been more than lucky. Didn't get any thing to speak of the day she hit and only a smattering of rain since. And we could use a little water - just not 30" all at one time...

Many, many thanks! Could have sworn I'd looked in every possible place. Guess I had looked everywhere but there. Sure wish SD was able to put every thing in one place instead of having it stuck over a couple dozen. :)

OK, I give up... I've searched the forums and read the basics. Where do you find the 'docklets' folder? And where do you put the docklet .dll files? Trying to install a volume control docklet I found in the gallery and it says to put the icons in the docklets folder. It also includes a .dll, but doesn't say where that goes...

Fay was pretty much a flop over here on the west coast of beautiful, sunny FL. Not that I'm complaining or anything... :) Rode out Charley when he came thru and, trust me, the nonsense the gov't tries to pass out that he was only a cat 4 is nonsense. Been up close and personal when several tornados when I was up North. Up close and personal meaning within a few 100 ft. And, as far as snow storms, the White Tornado back in '77 was lots of fun - sustained winds of +70, temp
Well, Tropical Storm Fay has made landfall, with maximum sustained winds of 60 MPH.
Well, so far, Fay is a flop here on the mid-westcoast around Sarasota. It's still early, but so far no rain, no wind, no flying cows. Did have lots of stupid people running around the stores yesterday though :)

@ J. Aroche I 2nd Bebi Bulma's 'eternally grateful'... :) Also, it's nice to know I'm not the only one who doesn't care for the inability to open CFX files in winzip or winrar. Plus, on the Pro version, I'd really like it if the editor was fully functional. Like, for instance, would allow you to recolor and resize on a permanent basis. Really bugs me to have to tweak my settings on a cursor set every time I change one for a preview...

And, FWIW, there's a problem with the upload function for Desktop Screenshots right now. At least for some of us. Opened a ticket with SD support after I had problems with it and was told it will be fixed shortly. Just wanted to let everyone know... Edit #1: Oops... Didn't see SeaBass' comment right there at the top of the message line...

Same prob (icon-wise) here. Seemed to solve the prob by resetting to the Windows default icon pack and rebuilding, repairing, and restoring icons 'before' uninstalling IP4. Hadn't archived, so didn't have the luxury of reverting at the earlier version. :) The 'activate.exe' problem is being worked on. Apparently there's a complicated conflict between IP4 and some other (can't remember which right now) program that needs to be resolved before the correction update will be relea

This from the IconPackager v4 Support Thread forum... When I got the 'can't find..activate.exe' error on attempting to change an individual file type icon copying the 'activate.exe' file from C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\Icon Packager to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Stardock\IconPackager allowed me to change the individual file type icon. Subsequently (meaning 'just now) I experienced a "new" variant on the problem where (under the above c

Made the switch to 'Impulse' a while ago since it was just too confusing trying to keep track of what updates were actually available where. SDC would show one version while Impulse showed another. So far no problems with Impulse to speak of. Have some kind of weird instances with some of the other apps (that I've already reported to Support) like having install status of an app change from installed correctly to NIC for no apparent reason. But I'm not sure if that's solely an Impuls

Ummm... Should've been more specific... I mean 'after' you download them is there a specific recommended folder to stick'em in for access. Like, do you need to create a folder in, for instance, C:/Windows/WEB or some thing like that? Or just put'em some where you know where they're at to get to? Or should you create (or, more likely, add to) an existing IconPackage?
