I have not tried this yet so i am guessing about the mechanics based on your description. That said, i agree with your idea. It should be something your army needs to prepare for and face either a big force and/or an onslaught.
You have to select the tyrant to experience this.

I posted this earlier in the wrong section, so I'm re posting it in the proper section. As it currently exists, it's easy to unlock and cast due to the ability to siphon your own shards, while this is intuitive and good design the problem is that it casts instantly. I think it should work similarly to legendary heroes where it takes a few turns to cast, during which time you should have to defend against an onslaught of armies. This would allow it to be a victory c

One thing I noticed while playing is that screen tearing is still an issue with Sorcerer King. There are alot of screen tearing issues in FE and it appears that it is still a problem in SK. Hopefully this will be looked into. On another note when you auto resolve battles sometimes units still move to their destination as the battle is being auto battled. This also existed in FE.

I've been playing Star dock's titles for some years now. I first started with SoSE and Demigod, and later moved to Elemental: Fallen Enchantress and Legendary Heroes. I've tried only one other space 4x Game and that is Endless space. I felt that the game felt rigid, traveling using space lanes in endless space felt really awkward in the sense there was no way to intercept ships without staying in orbit around a planet. Pirates felt horribly awkward often fielding mor

By definition if there are no better choices, then the one you have made is the best.
He meant in the present. By that logic Slavery could be easily justified.
I have a lot of problems with the "blood" traits. I like the distinction they create but think a lot of them are either unpolished or just plain underpowered. Compare Quendarian blood giving you a nearly useless elemental resistance (and weakness!) to the Mancer ability to BUILD ROADS, currently the most overpowered ability that exists, in my opinion. Top the road-building off with +1 accuracy per level and bam! unbalanced blood
Quoting Azunai_, reply 3by that time, trained armies are a lot more powerful than champions\ Alas that this is how the game should end up, that your mighty heroes get so outclassed by your normal units in the lategame that they're not even worth considering!
I disagree in every sense of the word, heroes should scale to late game.

The changes to Yithril are pretty awesome however i feel the other factions could use some work. As mentioned in a different thread i created we now have three factions that have master-craft armor. I feel that only one faction should have this trait. Umbar at the moment seems fairly unpolished. They have awesome faction passives but as far as weapons are concerned and the faction itself it seems like a carbon copy of Tarth. I hope prior to release the other factions are loo
