My .ini file icon is still stuck at the SimpleMachines theme. Before, I did EVERYTHING possible (except reinstalling Windows) to get it back to the Vista default, and Stardock support wasn't able to help. I hope that this release fixes that problem. Also, does this release come with the Diamond IP by Paul Boyer, or is that just something that the guy in the screenshot bought?

I can't wait for the next WindowFX and Style Vista :D
So far, everybody supports this idea. Let's hope it gets heard.
I think Sedna is some person on a white tiger, who specializes in healing her units.
I know of at least 6 Demigods appearing in this game (Rook, Regulus, QoT, TB, VL, UB), but I have heard of an "Oak" and "Oculus" as well. Can anybody explain to me what Oak and Oculus are?
Interesting... I certainly hope that those demigods will be implemented some time or another.
However I would demand that all color schemes are pre-made by the Devs so that we don't have pink polka-dotted Rooks running around.
Of course. If players were able to use totally custom paint, certain color schemes (like that) would get old and annoying very quickly.
I think that the idea is great, but there are a couple things that bother me. First, I think that there should be more corpses required for doing spells. 3 corpses at lvl one? That'll be found immediately. I'd raise that amount. Second, what if there are other Corpse Dancers in the same game, and that "corpses required" cound WAS raised significantly? The competition would be overwhelming.
I think that it would be nice if players were able to customize their demigod in some way or another. By this, I mean that before a match, a player should be able to choose a secondary color to appear on their demigod (such as a colored stripe, or a colored aura surrounding the demigod), or a small avatar to appear next to his/her name when messages appear on the screen (example: Mackinator [e digicons]:banhammer:[/e] is WRATHFUL). Adding these aesthetical customization options would b
Yeah but when you said " then I think it would be better if the rook didn't use the skill until the target was directly in front of it." it made it sound like you wanted the game to play for you.
Oh well... all that matters is that others know the idea that I was trying to convey. That is the case, right?
I love this idea. It's well put. THE ROOK MUST BE MORE EPIC!
I am sorry if I was not clear. Jebobek said it better than I did. This happens even when you target something with the skill (yes, I am sure that I target a unit). Also, as Jebokek described in his first post in this thread, the rook "kind of turns to him, but not all the way." This is the same with stationary targets... if the rook missed with this attack because the targeted unit moved away, then I would not care about this. However, the fact is that it will miss things that are not moving.
I can't install it on more than one computer. It gives me a "can not connect" message. I hate EA. Why buy a game when you can just rent a dumbed-down version for the same price? Duh.
+1. This makes the epicness of the remaining Demigods even greater.
When using Hammer Smash with the rook, I realize that sometimes, the rook misses with the hammer smash. Although the target is hit, it is only because of the AOE. It seems like if the rook has to rotate in order to hit the target, it doesn't rotate all the way, and initiates the skill before the target is directly in fornt of the rook, where the hammer falls down. Does this happen to anybody else? EDIT: The idea part: If this is the case, then I think it would be better
I agree that the hammer seems to be underused. I propose that if it continues to only use the hammer as often as it does now (very rarely), then the hammer should instead be "summoned," suddenly appearing in his hands for the hammer skills. Of course, since it was summoned, it would have to glow yellow like the rook's hands (they might only glow with certain buffs; I'm not sure), or have some other indicator to show that it was special and not just a regular hammer that suddenly appeared.
There will be a PDF i'm sure. Sins had this.
I was just about to ask the same question as the OP. I hope that what you say is true.
I too agree that the Rook should be bigger... playing as it makes wonder how in the world people can fit in those towers of his comfortably.
As an addition to the original topic, I would like to state how I think that the Rook is too small. While, yes, it is big, it certainly does not match the scale that should be seen given the previews. Even just a little bit bigger, such as 10%, would be fine. Also, when using the Rook, I wonder how people can allegedly fit inside those towers of his...
Nope. I have two HD's, and one has 30GB left and the other has 128GB left. I'm installing on the 128 GB one.
Multiple times, I have tried to download Demigod from Impulse. Each time, when it gets to 100%, the download immediately disappears in the console. When I go to the "My Games" tab at the top, and select Demigod, it says "File downloaded is larger than expected." If I click the orb in the top-left corner, and do "Restore Archive..." nothing happens. I really want to participate in this Beta. Can anyone tell me what to do to fix this? Edit: I have Vista Home Premium 32-bit
I have a similar problem. My Live Folders have not reverted back to the Windows Default, and some other files, such as .ini's, will not revert either. I too have tried to use "rebuild cache" and the similar options.
You need SkinStudio
I would also suggest using the start button from the WB skin "Arrow."
I went to the Dell site recently and could not find anything about it. Am I missing something?
What's going to be new about DeskScapes 2.0? I'm using the one that came with OD.
