It's extraordinarily good to see this game get the dev attention it deserves. I truly believe that it will pay off for you guys in the long run. Bravo!

The battle viewer is looking much better, but please, please, please, allow us to see the battle BEFORE the results are shown. I don't want to watch a battle after the fact...
Granted, I AM a bit of jerk. At least, I know I come off that way. Text doesn't really convey questions like that well... I just want to help and wanted to see where feedback was being seen. Thanks for the reply, Brad and Co.

Up next...the Festron: Another decent base-level ship and I appreciate the lack of logistics needs. It's nothing special, but it's a good entry-level commander ship. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/23/87/2387543/9ae9ac16-1842-4061-80b0-7ff7faa49265.png" alt="" width="590" height="558"
Over the course of the next couple of weeks, I'm going to evaluate every race's commander ships and offer some suggestions on how to make them a bit more unique/asymmetrical, so that each of the races has unique ships like that of the Humans or Baratak Grove. Let's start with the Humans: While the Victory is a bit boring, it does sca
That's because religion is a cancer and stifles rational thought. I appreciate that SD understands that and has made it very much part of the lore here.
The ships themselves don't have models. They are assembled from their parts.
Right, then, to be more specific, some of the ship parts are a bit ugly, particularly the Grove's. Anyway, looking forward to all of this.
Will ship models get visually updates along with improvements and minor civs?
Yeah, some of the models are ugly. Like the Grove's. Even worse than GC3.
I see a lot of great posts here on what needs to be addressed, but there are never any dev responses. Are you guys reading these? If so, a five-second response would be appreciated. I'd love to start diving deep on providing feedback, but I don't want to waste my time if I'm not being heard. Not trying to be rude, but a copy/paste job of "Duly noted" would go a long way.
The Manti are said to have lost a whole generation and thus start with "fewer citizens". But when starting a new game with them, they have 5 citizens, just like everyone else. Also, the Navigators homeworld is always surprisingly good considering it's supposed to be mostly useless. Point being: If you have specific text about a race in the game, it should match what we see in game.
Complet
This looks great, along with the one you shared on the Discord. Will the updates be separate from "Next"?

I have yet to see any of the alpha/beta testers report either here or o
Any chance for the battle viewer?
Stardock could look at how Illwinter's Dominions series does auto combat? For each army, you set up the formations and orders of units, and then they carry those out to the best of their abilities in each combat. Now Dominions combat is considerably more complex and involved than Galciv, but there should certainly be something to take from how they do it? https://www.ill

I'd love to see more reasonable trade requests. In my latest video (Here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tcF80wZOh8 ), the AI is making frequent, quite frankly, awful, trade requests. And the "strength" calculations seem a bit skewed, too. The Corporate Sector is scored twice as high as I am, despite being only really strong with their income and military. PS: Some really old accounts in
