Since AOW III turned out to be bland and repetetive to me, I am happy that there is another game to try :) I buy all 4x games I find to support the effort, but rarely do I get really pulled in. I have spent the most time with Warlock and Fallen Enchantress the last couple of years. I have also tried games like Pandora, Endless Space and others without getting hooked. I want a 4x game where the focus is surviving a tough world, not a balanced game made for multiplay

I have to add that I like to set up a game to fail. I want it to be very difficult so that when I finally win, I will feel like I actually accomplished something. I am the kind of player who will never use any kind of booster in Candy Crush Saga, because I want it to be difficult. I am the nightmare of any "free to play - please buy boosters to avoid grinding game"
Why must we be facing other strictly defined factions in a 4X? Why not just make it so that the player is up against the "world"; something varied and not so easily defined.
This is what I am looking for in a game. This is the fun part of 4x games. I try to bend normal 4x games to be a bit like this. Choosing dense monsters in FE, pressing end turn 5 times at the start of a Warlock game to make it more challeng
After playing warlock 2 quite a bit: Logistics are a PITA - possibly quite a bit of backtracking if a shard has multiple portals Its not difficult to get quite a few units and have many small incremental moves - quite a bit of micro Right around shard 4 or 5 it seems you meet tormenters. Nasty 150 hp units with a nasty elemental attack that DEMOLISHES standard troops. Hopefully

I have played this game a few times now and I find it kinda bland. My problems with the game is that it seems to unfold in the same way every time with not that much fun to be had. 1. I upgrade my heroes a lot, but those are not really interesting or fun upgrades. 2. My level 4 unit is totally superior and when I get to it (not that far into the game really), I can just spam them as much as I can afford. This is the same no matter what the unit is. 3. There is no sense

1. CIV IV - the king of strategy 2. Master of Orion II - fantastic game that I played for years 3. Master of Magic - say no more 4. Warlock Master of the Arcane - simple and addictive 5. Fallen Enchantress Pretty sure I have forgot some classic, but this is the list from the top of my head. Top three is clear at least.

It will be a long slow process, but Ukraine will gravitate towards EU. EU offers more freedom, opportunities and less of the old way. Just my guess. I have been a lot to Lithuania (I am Norwegian), but never to Ukraine

This game has stolen/been inspired by the best. Alpha Centauri for the theme Civ V / Warlock for the hexes and graphics style Master of Orion II for the movement of workers/scientists and stuff Civ IV for the stacking and fighting +++ And I know these games were not the first with those kind of mechanics. Anyways, its a pretty good game for me so far. I have played a few hours and I like. I hope this game will get upda

I bought it after reading a an AAR and watching a bit of Das2468 (or whatever numbers he has there :) ) I support anyone that tries to make turnbased strategy games. It had a big patch on 05.12. and I am looking forward to playing.
