If you're talking about starting the clock for the "Time played" achievements in Steam and Epic, you just play the game. Both of those platforms keep a log of how long you've been playing any game, and that's what is used to trigger the achievement.

So basically what I'm suggesting is an enhancement to the Custom Civ creation/Edit process. Add a new dropdown, probably to the Abilities tab, that would let you pick the Civilization Factions (limit 3) using a dropdown like Civ Traits. I always thought it was just to let you know which planets would get the stat boosts in case you wanted to convert them to core worlds. It may be that once upon a time Colonies did get the boost and they didn't change the starbase display when they changed the mechanic. BTW - I tested one of my systems with an empty planet in the ZOC of 3 starbases and its base stats did not change when I colonized it.

I've brought this up before and thought it was going to be added, but don't know if it's on the list or not. It would really be nice to have the ability to pick the Factions we want for our custom Civ., not be stuck with the grouping from one of the prebuilt Civs.

I've asked for this before but I think it's needed so I'll ask again. We really need to have a count of the number of add-on modules of each type available in order to properly plan which Commander/Prototype ships to use them on. I go back to GalCiv I so I guess that qualifies me as a longtime player. I bought the base GalCiv IV game when it came out and while I enjoyed it, I would say it was basically just a prettier version of previous games. I got into the Supernova beta when it came out and I've been testing and commenting on all the new features Stardock has been working on. I will tell you that there has been a tremendous amount of effort put in by the Stardock team to make this version of GalC

Zichella1 - I've had an AI Civ with enhanced Fleets attack me in my last 2 games - game over. My buffed Command ships totally worthless. I'm not sure how to get them either. I agree, they're not in the Tech Tree that I can see. I also checked all the Ideologies under Cultural Progression and didn't see anything there. Maybe one of the existing Orbitals that I don't normally use unlocks them? I'll check that out in a new game today. Sure hope
