REVEAL FEATURE NEEDED

It would be very helpful.

I like using the Fences product; however, a feature that would really make Fences far more useful is for there to be a hotkey which would bring all of the Fences to the top of the programs so that I can use the Fence without having to hide the running programs or go back to the desktop. I need for these "menus" a.k.a., Fences, to be available for use, faster and easier. Thanks!

If I may add to Darius4536 recommendation.

What is needed is the option to click on the header of the fence, if it's not in Roll-up mode or just hover the mouse on the header of the fence and for it to display its contents above any opened window (basically a 'Always-On-Top' feature).

Another few requests.

1. To be able to customise the layout of the icons within a fence, to our liking instead of sorting it with the available options..

2. I have some fences set as List. In the fence I have some folders. It would be nice to click on the folder within the fence and for it to display the contents of it in this fence in List format, without having it to open the folder, if I'm making it clear to understand.

3. To be able to dock the fence to the top-edge of the screen or any edge of the screen and keep it hidden. When I move the mouse and touch the top-edge of the screen it brings down the fence or fences in there.

#1 has been on our list for a long time and has proven impossible so far. We work on it though.

#2 is an interesting idea. Thanks.

#3 Fences does that now but displays the title bar. You would like the title bar to not be displayed at all?

#3 No. ALMonty suggested that Objectdock is what I'm looking for, but instead of having another program in memory, I would like Fences to provide something similar to Objectdock.

So, cutting it short, have the Fence Roll-up and hidden into the edge of the screen. When I touch the edge of the screen, the Fence Rolls-down showing its contents.

Instead of shooting first and asking afterwards, it would have been more polite of you to find out if the 'amount of memory', in the 512 sarcastic remark, was actually the issue. Unfortunately, that is not the issue.

Responding to your second comment, simplification works wonders at times. Instead of double-clicking anything, a simple movement of the mouse to the edge of the screen and continuing with the movement of the mouse to the fence header for it to roll-down does the job effectively. No clicking! Just a different approach.

What I suggested was merely my opinion and in no instance was it forced down on any one to accept it. Just my opinion, the same way you are welcome to put forward your opinion.

If you're not happy with any of the opinions commented throughout the forums, simply state you're not in agreement or 'Thumbs-up' the comment.
