Hi! It's almost time for me to renew my subscription to Object Desktop, and for some reason I'm remembering that there were 1yr. renewal; 2yr. renewal; & maybe even a 3yr. renewal rate, (each additional year saved the buyer some money). Am I imagining this, or is this "sale" still in effect? It seems like it was WAY more than a year ago that I purchased my subscription to OD, and it's expiring in 4 weeks...either I'm confused (it won't be the first time!), or just
Oh, I almost forgot....Thanks for the WIKI page...I'm sure I'll get some good tips there! gardenspook :)
Hi Everyone! Thanks for the quick response, Pixelo, and 'Thanks' for not making me feel like an idiot! My goal was to eliminate ALL unnecessary stuff on my Desktop so that I could see my wallpaper, and having just that tiny strip of icons across the bottom seemed to be the perfect solution. If I put the taskbar items in their own dock, I STILL don't know where my 'minimized' pages will show up in the other dock. Am I making sense????? As far as the Weather dock,
Hi Everyone! First of all, I want to thank all of the fantastic artists who have made my PCs look so beautiful! When I get enough courage, I'm gonna give it a try. Unfortunately, since I'm still a novice at just using my PCs, I'll have to rely on the kindness of strangers! ;) I'd also like to add that I know I'm probably asking really stupid questions, but please have mercy on me; I'm a self-

Hi Everyone! I downloaded lots of "stuff" from WinCustomize from the "Object Dock" pages, and now I don't know what to do when I unzip them! What path should I select so they end up in an easily-to-find place when I need them? Also, what is the correct answer to give when Windows opens that little message box that says; "Windows can't open this file...
Hey, Thanks a LOT, Zubaz!! You've solved all of my problems at once!! Gratefully, gardenspook
Hi Everyone! I have a Dell Desktop that runs XP Home, but I just got a Toshiba Laptop that runs Vista Home Premium. I would LOVE to run my CursorXP-Pro on my Laptop (as well as all of my other Stardock stuff), but I don't know how the heck to do the following: 1. I'm the ONLY human being who uses my Laptop; however it INSISTS on making me just about jump through hoops to let it know that I'm the Administrator before I can do ANYTHING!!!! GRRRRRR! Does any
Hi Everyone! (Especially 'Lady Bebi Bulma' and "Bichu") for answering my question about finding the serial number I needed!) I hope you both get my 'thank you' I'm sorry for the delay in expressing my thanks for the info....I haven't been on my PC for over TWO WEEKS , and you can just imagine how backed-up everything is! (For example, I had to open my e-mail program, and I had 274 m
Hi Everyone! I've purchased many products from Stardock/WinCusomize, over the past few years with my most recent addition being "Object Desktop". I can't remember what it's called, but there's also an organizing program that lists all of the Stardock things I've purchased; when they need updated; when they need to be renewed, etc. Among the many things that came with the purchase of "Object Desktop" and my renewal of my "WinCustomize" membership was "ICON PACKAGER", but I've
