I tried reinstalling impulse and demigod to no effect. In Impulse when I load the game, it shows the version as 1.20 (1/13/2010) and ingame it shows the version as 1.20.0214. I tried check for updates and made sure auto updates are on and it dosent try to update.

Like it said, I downloaded the game from impulse. I did not pirate the game, not very helpful to automatically assume that. I have already tried redownloading it earlier but I will try again after deleting it from the .impulsereactor.

You have to use your resources very wisely and expand quickly. Otherwise, you get overrun quickly. Also, if you just want to zerg it out so to speak, you can change your starting credits and such per map if you wish. Cant play online if you do that (you can always change it back). It wont help you learn how to play the game, but it can be fun sometimes.

I recently bought Demigod off of impulse cause someone gave me a coupon code. I downloaded the game and ran it but when I try to go to multiplayer, it tells me I need to update the game. When I go back to impulse, impulse does not have any options whatsoever to be able to update.

I am trying to get this mod to work. I have dipolmocy 1.0 installed and Im trying to use the distant stars .7. When I try to enable the mod, the game freezes. I leave it there for quite a while and it stays frozen and I have to force quit the game. Any way I can get this mod to work? I checked the checksum and its correct.

Does the retail version of Demigod require Impulse to run and recieve updates?
