Black Screen Using KVM in Multiplicity Stardock Forums

I am attempting to use the KVM feature. My primary PC (desktop) is setup for KVM and my secondary computer (laptop) is also setup. When I connect, I get nothing but a black screen. I have scoured the forums and I think I know what the problem is however none of the solutions I have found were successful. My laptop has an integrated GPU and a dedicated GPU (for gaming).
