So you have 10 people and...they owe a food to someone? It doesn't make sense to me. I think he's just saying that to make a level 1 city (obviously after your capital) should cost 1 food, like I have 3 food, make a pioneer and go found a new city and now I have 2. Makes perfec

Guess I'll add the ones I found that aren't on your list: - Custom Sovereigns begin with a Base Attack of 1, but the stock Sovereigns begin with a Base Attack of 0. - Legendary Plate Armlets are missing. - Verga has no Profession. - The Great Warriors racial trait is being applied to all races and factions, regardless of whether they have the Great Warriors trait or not. Thus, the Great Warriors trait currently does nothing. This can be seen in combat because n

Hmm... I just checked and you are somewhat correct p22. However, Relias, who is of the race "Men" doesn't get the +1 to Base Attack, while a custom Sovereign of the race "Men" does. I also tested a custom Sovereign of the race "Wraith" with both Altar and with Resoln, and in all cases he got the +1 Base Attack bonus, so *all* custom Sovereigns are getting the +1 Base Attack regardless of their own race or of the race they are ruling.

I suspect that this isn't a bug. It costs 3 points per stat increase until you have less than 3 left and then it gives you the last one for whatever you have left, as long as it's more than zero. If your last stat point only cost you 1 point and you take a negative trait that gives you 3 points, you'll only get 1 point, so it keeps track too.

I'd like to request that clicking on "Retire" button in the Unit Designer delete the corresponding file in the Documents/My Games/Elemental/Units directory. I often create a unit, don't like the way the picture turned out, create a new one with the same name, and retire the old one. I might repeat this several times until I'm satisfied. Or, I might do it just to change the order my units are listed in. When I looked in this folder I found that I had a half dozen files for each unit name, maki
Brad actually said in the patch notes that they increased the default actions in combat from 1.0 to 2.0. Does anyone read patch notes *insert sigh of despair* .
Exactly - "from 1.0 to 2.0", not to 3.0! We're seeing all factions at 3.0 in battle, and 2.0 in the Designer. Thus, something is up with Great Warriors because we do not see a change as to whether the faction has it or doesn't. In
Quoting Trifler500, reply 4 I don't know how you got 3 combat speed. Are you sure you weren't looking at Attack instead? I've tried it with both of the stock factions that have it as well as with a custom Kingdom and a custom Empire faction and none of them had 3 combat speed. How to see 3 combat speed? Easy. Make a custom faction with Great Warriors trait, make some units, ENTER COMBAT, check their combat speed. On the main map only

I've been trying to figure out exactly what the Vengeance Coating accessory listed in the Equipment tab of the Unit Designer does. I know it doesn't raise a unit's Attack rating. I tried it in battle and I didn't see any kind of DoT from it. Does anyone know? Devs feel free to chime in. I'd really like to know!
quoting post After considerable testing (and re-tested after the hotfix), I've found: Great Warriors - This faction trait still does nothing. Units for Tarth and Yithril have no more Combat Speed than any other faction. I also tested it using the Faction Creator and still saw no additional Combat Speed. I did make sure to look a the tooltip for Combat Speed to see if it might be too small to change the whole number, but nope,
A note on the Death Worship trait. Though it appears to do nothing for a custom race, the Resoln (the empire guys that get it by default) do get some effect from it. In the empire/kingdom selection page it states that they get a +10 bonus to hit points. When designing Resoln units, new designs (ie, hitting the "new" button) will start with 5 hp like everyone else but their default peasants begin with 13 hp (which is +8 above the n
