It's literally the most common feature request, even above the battle viewer. I've been told it is on the roadmap.

The way I interpret it, the stats already take the modifiers into account, which makes them kind of pointless. To the player, it really doesn't matter if RNG rolled an 8 directly or rolled a +5 modifier and a 3 directly. IDEA instead of these modifiers adding a direct modifier, make it multiplicative (50% or even 100%). That way, they would become increasingly more beneficial after buffs that make the entire empire smarter.
I was actually terrified at the thought of not having a minimap way way back when we removed it. But I was shocked at how little I missed it.
I agree. It works for Civ but in both Humankind and here, I am so used to zooming and panning that I don't really miss it.
Maybe? This is such a radical change to how combat works that I don't see how it could possibly be considered as part of 1.0. I'd like to see it deferred to an expansion so that it could be evaluated fairly without the urgency to getting the game released.
Im looking into it. They aren't getting the growth bonus from Promethion correctly, so that definitely needs fixed.
I think this is missing the point. If you would tie the presentation of the mechanics to the calculation of the mechanics, I wouldn't be complaining. As a player, it is more important to know what the mechanic is than whether it is balanced or not. If I knew that buying promethion wouldn't affect my
If it's not an actual bug then the only thing I can think of is that nests are immune to non-kinetic attacks. I'm thankful for those of you who are daring to use this test version. I think I'm going to wait a week.
There are a number of places where you can swap to abuse the game. One is moving leaders around between factions. There's a faction that gives you benefits at the galactic bazaar and there is zero reason to keep a leader there when you are not actively shopping. I like the Civ VI mechanic of not being able to change policy cards unless there is some broader change like researching a civic, changing your government, the end of an era, or paying cash. That exact mechanic isn't exactly a
The Onyx Hive don't use food. The negative growth and negative approval are punishments while the negative food consumption doesn't do anything good. This policy is worse than completely useless.
Is it ever useful? Isn't the penalty for starving 10% approval? Just let them starve. There has got to be a more useful card than something that gives you a maximum of a 4% approval boost.
Good question. This was pretty much the first thing I asked in last month's thread and never got a response. Another mystery mechanic. The problem with these mystery mechanics is that we have no idea what the developer's intent is. Without that, we can't evaluate whether the game is working properly or not.

Don't apologize! If we don't find it before the end of Beta then someone like Spiffing Brit will. [e digicons]:D[/e]
Finally got Precursor Analytics (+25% to relics) on my current game. This is not being applied to any of my relics. I'm attaching a save game. Another issue, upgrading Control Relics do not increase the amount of Control they produce. This can also be seen in the attached save. They stay at +0.1 no matter how many additional relic modules are on the starbase. I assume that each additional module should a

For example, the citizen might have the "Authoritarian" ideology trait (you should see this trait on them) and your civilization may be Libertarian. The "We hate our Culture" isn't very helpful since "Culture" is used to explain other things. I'll see about changing it to "We hate our authoritarian ideology" to be more clear.
<p
I think the devs could look to a game like Heroes Hour for an example of how to implement a battle viewer. quick, entertaining , light tactics, position units etc. this type of viewer wouldn't slow the pace of the game down and provide some tactical depth an entertainment.
It's a done deal. The battle viewer is already slated for the 0.8 beta.
Until the end-game is more thought-through, I'm not touching it. Get to 75% prestige, declare victory, and restart. It's more fun that way plus I want to get a better feel for more races, different sector layouts, and higher difficulty levels.

I found 2 planets in my starting sector that the spore ability had obviously been used on. I happily colonized them. I eventually found the Baratak much later in my game, 4 sectors away. There is absolutely no way the Baratak could have used their spore ability on those planets, without it being some sort of bug. I'm pret

It would be nice if someone from Stardock would actually answer our questions instead of making us play detective to figure out how the game works. This is a two-way street, Stardock. Do you want our feedback or not? It's a bit silly for us to pay for the privilege of participating in early access, to go out of our way to provide feedback, and then get completely ignored when we have comments or questions. Your lack of participation in this process has me questioning my decision to join the e
Is the world under the influence of another civ? That could be the trigger.
I think you nailed it. I was playing a peaceful turtle game and never encountered that problem until I gave up on trying to culture-flip and decided to simply invade my neighbors. The problem coincided with the time I turned a captured core world into my own core world (probably a mistake in retrospect...) and naturally had unhappy citizens.
