Should CursorFX Plus and CursorFX 4 use different licenses? in CursorFX Stardock Forums

I am a buyer of CursorFX Plus. I cannot register my old serial number for product downloads featured at https://www.stardock.com/products/cursorfx/ . Existing serial numbers are registered only in older CursorFX programs.(Version 2.16.0) Do I need to buy a new one to use CursorFX 4?
