So if I understand, the game I purchased for testing, which became the basic game only available through Epic, is not available to Steam. So to play the game I tested on my preferred platform -- Steam. Now, to be able to play I either need to purchase the new version or deal with Epic's constant bombardment of advertising games I have no interest in or log in every time I feel like playing yours. Thanks for the information. This is likely the last Stardock product I will invest in.</p

And for some of us... How to do that for Avast? The launcher is allowed and GCIV doesn't have a listing in active or inactive programs. Edit: Error code is: LS-0013
This can be caused by a 3rd party program.
So you're saying that third party software that worked fine with the previous version broke your update?
Why would I use a construction material I haven't found in my Solar System to build anything?
Festron Unlocked - Anyone who has played against the Festron knows that once they get onto your planets they slowly start to consume your citizens and replace them with new Festron. But, playing as the Festron you get to control this process. Anytime you have a foreign species on your planet (not counting the Yor or Onyx Hive, who are immune to this) you can select to Consume the foreign citizen. Doing so produces a new Festron with all the traits of the citizen
If the Game Turn is still supposed to be a week long, it actually makes more sense for the delay than to not have it. It will take longer than a day after giving the order to load everything you need for an invasion into the ship to send it on its way.
TY for the information.
I landed a colony ship on a nice little 15 rated world. A few turns later I checked in. My colony is now in the hands of a Pirate Group. No notice, no warning -- poof, it's gone. All your colony now belong us. I sent a ship over to investigate; there was no Pirate ship in the area. When the ship I sent would have contacted the colony -- it vanished. I suppose it too is now under control of the Pirates. I rage quit. This morning I decided to find out if anyone knows how and why
@WakingGiant This is an Alpha. I'm pretty sure the final release, like most current strategic level games, will have an Ironman mode.
I think this was mentioned in one of the DDs. When you create a Core World you put the surrounding colonies under its control. This is to lower the need to micro every colony.
The Core world is a trade center. Any colony closer to the new Core would automatically deliver there. Lower shipping costs. Maybe it could change over time; they don't all change at once.
