Hello, that is not really an option. It also happens randomly when resolution or DPI changes, that random icons are thrown out of fences and are on desktop in no fence anymore.

It happens often, that fences bug out if yous witch resolution for example between 4k and 1080p and also switch then bewteen windows 11 dpi scaling of 100% and 200%, that icons are dropped out of the fences, are stack over each other and so on. would be nice if this could be fixed.

Horizontal docking not working in Fences Stardock Forums

Why is horizontal docking still not working in Fences 4? I just upgraded from 3 and totally annoyed already, that this still isnt working with Fences 4. You cant dock groups under each other so that Fences automatically docks them in the same gap for example 2px. It randomly sometimes docks with 0px, 1px or something else.

I came here via google search, I have two issues on two PCs, which started to happen some days ago, both Windows 11 and having Fences installed. Opening Explorer and browse through files, randomly let the Explorer freezes fro 5-7 seconds. On the other PC saving files for example files in Chrome or any other app save to then click ok, freezes the APP for 5 seconds. I have a suspicion this has to do with Fences.

What do you mean with that. That makes no sense, then this need to be changed. I want: 1. manual mode => with override, for example right click moving, that you can always group, manually 2. in combination with an exclusive list, which will regardless always auto group What is the meaning of the auto group list if it is ignored if you set a modifier? Then that wouldnt be an auto group anymore right?

I never had the news and weather "widget" enabled btw from the beginning, I had disabled it before even I had installed this update. Yet no source or news portal seem to write, what we here discussed, that it is related to "system hooks". How is that related? I mean I have kb5003214 installed and the "news and weather" disabled right now, and I have no glitches, with Groupy disabled. How on EARTH didnt NOONE at MS notice this while """testing"""?

Well. That the programmers at MS are totally incompetent since a few years sadly is nothing new. Wonder why that is the case. Mostly because all the "old guys" from the Windows team retired, and those young kids from college (or even not from college) never learned how to program properly or how the Windows system works. I dont use any 3rd party apps like I said. Groupy is doing this. I can always reproduce it. activate groupy reboot, broken, deactivate groupy reboot, working. I did that now 3 times in a row.

The issue is now "gone" or back to normal, after reinstalling Groupy. I will monitor it over the next weeks, if it happens again. So it has to do with Windows Defender?

A new tab always should open a blank command line of the instance. Best would be per app. For Explorer this might be usefull, but not for Notepad, or other applications, like an Image viewer, Word, ect.

@basj How could it be an "incompatiblity" with the app? It is a normal win32 app so that should make it work normally, no? Hi there, I installed the 30days trial and wanted to give it a try. It looked nice so far, but I already notice an annoying bug just after 5 minutes of using it, and am missing a simple feature which has to be in there, otherwise the program is a real pain to use on a tablet, where I want to use it (8" Windows 8.1).
