Thanks for the thorough reply. Unfortunately even when I look in the ship designs straight from the main menu, I still don’t find what I made and repeatedly saved there. The designs folder is also empty.
It was all in the main menu ship designer button. I haven’t tried designing anything mid-game from the star base… will have to check later if they’re available that would be a huge relief. Is there a difference in how the two are saved?
Trying GalCiv 4 Supernova. Spent about 4 straight hours just customizing ships to use with a custom faction. Saved multiple templates and ship designs. Logged out, logged back in, and they are all gone. I'm so angry I can't see (dictating this message). Is there any explanation for these designs disappearing?
