Thx for the report. It's a known issue but I'll bring it up again to the team.

You're right, that is strange. I'll bring it up to the team. Do you happen to have the save file showcasing this ? If so can you post it on discord, latest sitrep will do.
That's a good question! I don't know; I would think those would be much safer, but I could be wrong. I wouldn't worry about them for the moment, unless the crashes persist. Having said that, I'm pretty sure the devs are aware of this and will work to mitigate the issues and fortify the game against faulty workshop mods. Keep your crashing save file around, and test them out on the next patches, see if they eventually continue without issues. That would be a good way to know that you'r
Well that's quite unfortunate but I don't think the bundle is at fault. I've actually tested this last week and was able to get a game well into the 300 turns on a gigantic galaxy without any issues. The crashes are most likely caused by the Custom Ships models and Civilizations from the Steam Workshop. Those are known to be crash prone sadly and have been the cause of most crashes like that in the past and present. My advice would be to unsubscribe from all the Workshop mods, ship mo
Thanks for sharing the solution that you found!
That outdated mod is the bane of our existence lol. So many people report broken games because they uses it. From what I gathered it's a full replace mod (it replace the whole XML file instead of only modifying the relevant entries) which is the worst way to mod the game as far as long term compatibility since you have to completely redo the modded file everytime a patch does a small modification to it. It would be much better to use the ModifyDataDef method as well as RemoveDef metho
Thx for the report and the save! Since you had already posted it all on Discord though, there was no need to post it here as well. ;) Discord is even better actually since you can just drag and drop the various files (unless they're too big). In all cases this has been shared with the team.
I did pass it along to the team, with the save file you provided, so they are aware. Thx again for the report!
Ahh yeah, that's probably what happened!

Thx for the save file.
That's strange, are you using a custom civ shipset ? Eitther way thank you for the save file in the other post.
Yeah, I see what you mean. I just tried it myself an am able to reproduce this. I'll pass it along to the team. Thx for the report!
Alrighty, noted! I can't say I have experienced this issues but I've made a passed it along. Thank you.
Have you properly fixed your Windows installation following your Hard Drive failure ? Something like this can help. Open Command Prompt as an administrator. Type <code class=
Hiya! What game are you talking about ?
Since you're running on Linux I have no idea how you could fix this one. I would of though that settings the resolution in the file settings would of locked it to that. Have you tried playing with a scale of 100% ? Etc. Maybe other players using Linux as well could help out.
No idea what could be doing that. Care to share your system specs ?
You can drop it in the latest Sitrep (LIVE) v3.2 March 26th Update Sitrep, or if you cannot find it just drop it into gc4-commons with a small explanation and I'll forward it along to the sitrep ;)
No worries, if it ever happens again feel free to joins us on discord at https://discord.gg/galciv and share your issue with us in GC4-Commons by drag and dropping your problematic save file found in %userprofile%\Documents\My Games\GalCiv4\Saves with an explanation of what's the problem. You can share your issues here, on the Steam forum or on Discord, but the most efficient is Discord since it's easier to share files and images over
Hiya! It would be very helpful to get one of those "broken" save file show casing your issue. Can you share it with us over on the GC4 discord ?
Hiya Reacce, we actually had a conversation over on that Steam thread if you want to go check it out.
Yeah I actually made a mod, BugFix_UP_Voyagers, found in the Bundle of Mods at https://www.galciv4.com/mods/manager that fixes this issue. So while we wait for a fix to the base game, it's an option for your next game while playing a civ that uses the Voyager Trait or is affected by this issue. It'll only work on a new game though; same as if it makes it into a patch actually.

I don't know, it's possible they were not meant to be duplicated, but some player do like the extra bonus, etc. Either way, it's been reported a lot and the devs are aware ;)
