I followed your instructions, and it told me Group 2 was active on another PC (true), but that I could buy another copy. Object Desktop apps are supposed to allow 5 installs... However, when I next rebooted, it loaded and worked without a problem - so far! Thanks for your help! I do feel the app management & activation needs some work & simplification - the combination of direct downloads, Object Desktop downloads and Object Desktop Insider downloads is confusi

OK, I uninstalled Groupy using RevoUninstaller Pro to clear all remnants, rebooted, and ran the Groupy 2 direct download executable (Groupy2_2.3.1.0-j179-Setup). I activated it with the Groupy 2 product key for that download, and after it activated successfully, I got the same result as before - a message about requiring me to be a member of Object Desktop Labs, which then opened the Object Desktop Insider information page. When I returned to the Groupy UI, it asked me if I wanted to

I just downloaded the latest version of Object Desktop and it shows on the Insider part now. But when I installed it from there got the same message after I activated it with my most recent product key ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It doesn't appear in the Object Desktop Insider segment of Object Desktop, so I installed it from the main Object Desktop segment. I activated it with my Stardock account.

I just installed Groupy 2 from Object Desktop onto my Windows 11 ARM Surface Pro 9. It installed OK, but when I finished activating it, it showed a message saying I need to be a member of Object Desktop Labs and took me to the Object Desktop Insider page. I am already an Object Desktop Insider user. Next it asked if I wanted to uninstall the product. When I clicked 'No', it closed the Groupy app. Every time I try to run it, it asks me to activate it, which I do successfully, but then

Yes, I have the same problem with Fancy Zones and an auto-hide Start 11 taskbar at the top of the screen. Fancy Zones changes the lower edge of custom zones to leave a taskbar-sized gap at the bottom of the screen. My work-around is to leave the system auto-hide taskbar disabled and use the Start 11 taskbar option to only hide the taskbar when a window overlaps it. Fancy Zones then allows zones to stay at the bottom of the screen ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

In this case it would capture input and send it to the machine you are remote controlling but will not be capturing running apps or screenshots and obviously not sending anything to cybercriminals
When an AV
I was hoping for a better way to use a single computer's monitor, keyboard, & mouse to selectively control remote computers (e.g. in other rooms). I've tried Remote Desktop and Dell's Network/USB KVM, and both are clunky and unreliable. That is where the Multiplicity KVM feature comes in <img style="cursor: pointer;" src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/48/71/4871965/ac4f443b-a620-45c8-9f2f-a55375f83ad7.

That is what Seamless Display connections do, you are creating a connection to the Secondary PC that allows it to act as a bridge to adding more monitors to the Primary PC. The Secondary monitors become monitors of the Primary for the duration of the connection. I detailed this even more, with comparisons to other connection types, here: <a href="https:

Maybe it's because I have a cold, but I'm feeling a bit dim - I've read through the docs for Multiplicity Pro, but it's still not clear to me what 'Seamless Display does' - the docs say: " Seamless Display™ <span class="text_node" style="font-size: 17px; displa

I installed Version 0.80.0 beta on my Surface Pro 9 laptop running Windows 11 Pro and got a similar crash when trying to access History: <img src="data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAqYAAAFACAYAAABujr6dAAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAARnQU1BAACxjwv8YQUAAAAJcEhZcwAADsMAAA7DAcdvqGQAAFEBSURBVHhe7d0LnBxXeef9p2ckX+S74cUhwAL2jGQZOwkvF2tGZkmAJJqRsA22tflsEgO2NCPzApJ8ye4GnCy2w7sbo5tDwBrJGJtdQiSbSGZuJIHgBGskYF8Isq3LjHwJdgixseUrvsx0v89z6pzu6urqnp7RaLpG+n3tVndXn6o6VdUz/e9T59TkzjnnnIIAAAAADdbk7wEA

Sadly, after several episodes of instability with Start 11 V2, I've switched to StartAllBack, which is a bit less sophisticated, but way more stable for an autohide menu aligned at the top of Windows 11. The problem is described below: Start 11 V2 seemed stable after purging it and reinstalling it (on Windows 11, Surface Pro 9). I set the taskbar to align 'top', and set 'enhanced' mode for 'autohide'. It was fine for a few days, then after a Windows update, the taskbar icons o

Thanks for those links - very useful, and they solved the problems. I had no idea where all those Object Dock licenses were in use - some were allocated to long-dead PCs... The Start 11 V2 taskbar is now stable on the Surface Pro 9, although I'm still getting duplicate taskbar items with blank white icons when the 'enhanced taskbar' option is enabled. This only happens on the Surface Pro 9, not the desktop PCs. I can live with these (currently only 2), but I'd prefer not to.

The PC is rebooted regularly - the problem appeared after rebooting for the install of Start 11 v2 and persisted for at least two reboots since. But, I'm glad to report that, after uninstalling and reinstalling Start 11 v2, the widgets are now working properly! Not having the widgets was a very minor inconvenience, but it was an indicator that something wasn't right, which, experience suggests, is worth chasing up. Thanks to all for your comments and suggestions.

Oddly, my laptop has the same version of Windows as my desktop (which has the unavailable widgets), and also the latest version of Start 11 V2, and it displays the taskbar widgets OK. The only difference is that the desktop runs Windows 11 Home and the laptop runs Windows 11 Pro. The reason I queried whether the problem was due to Start 11 V2 is because it was working OK with Start 11 V1 and stopped working immediately after I installed Start 11 V2. This is what it

Ah, OK - thanks! That version fixes the sub-menus, but the widgets are still unavailable (with the unhelpful message, "If you're having trouble with the widgets board, here are some steps to get things working again - Retry"). It would also be helpful if we got a notification when a new version is available.
