Trying to Register in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

Hello all, I know there must be a zillion topics like this already but I've noticed that lots of times people's posts get ignored. Anyhow, I simply want to update the game so I don't have to stare at 100 Venuses in my game. I bought GalCiv2: Dread Lords several years ago at Best Buy in the United States. I know for sure I played and maybe registered the game on an old now-defunct computer, and if I did register, it was with some long-forgotten email.
