In the early 1990's, my college suite-mate played the first GalCiv on his OS/2 computer. He was very proud of the operating system and just as fond of the game itself. Well, if you gotta, I'd recommend DLC for a campaign. All of my GalCiv experiences over the years have been nothing but sandbox.
