I still feel the issue is the list of programs that Chrome will suggest you uninstall & they (Google) provide the means to do so in a browser pop-up up was complied arbitrary ( subject to individual will or judgment without restriction; contingent solely upon one's discretion ) so programs Google suggest you uninstall may never have caused issues & potentially does not inject harmful code into Chrome. From my reading it seems Google feel any programs/apps that may inject into Chrome (may) cause lack stability & security issues? I would think that a PC that has had it's anti-virus system removed will become even more unstable when inhabited by malware. I just does not make any sense, again from my reading the list of programs that 'may' cause instability to Chrome was complied arbitrary anyway.

My solution was to remove Chrome as it's flagging most AV solutions & on my friends PC Adobe programs also - I have installed Opera which is Chromium based doesn't check what software you have & report back to 'Google Towers'. Although I've used Opera many years ago I was really surprised as to how good it is, takes me ten mins from install to get it looking how I want. A few others I know have now moved to Opera, problem solved :-)

Chrome at this point isn't just warning users about incompatible programs it's actually recommending to remove such programs with a button to enable users to do this. In my list are 3 Stardock programs & Kaspersky Internet security. As I mentioned on another forum a young lady I work with whose PC I maintain? was so worried when Chrome's box came up she attempted to uninstall Kaspersky. Hello: I updated from 10.0.3 to 10.0.5 today - However whether I update the program or do a fresh install I end up with a very, very thin taskbars & Start Button (which is distorted) on all skins, also none of the programs added to 'Per Application' as 'ignore & do not skin' remain fully skinned, I have re-done this a couple of times to no avail. WB is only $9.99 that around £6.50 to me, about enough for a pint of beer & a couple of bags of peanuts, Stardock aren't the only company that have had issues with 10 either. Several have had to make significant changes to software & then had to change again & again - Malwarebytes version that is fully compatible with Win 10 is still in Beta as I'm testing it.

Immensely pleased with 'Start 10' to start with - As I'm a person who likes apps on my tablets/phone & programs & websites on my desk PC I've removed all the apps that can be removed as I'll never use them. Did a bit of a trial with Win 10 a couple of weeks back & noticed all was not well with WB, so as it's a choice at the moment between Win 10 or WB, blinds wins hands down so I'll stick with Win 7 until WB for 10 is complete. Can I assume that Iconpackager will be updated too? My life isn't complete without my PC's adorned with Stardock products & I'm happy to wait until WB for 10 is finished without smashing up my doll

I have 2 licences for Window Blinds 8 & Icon Packager 5 & fences for 1 - One of the PC's is being disposed of - Is it possible to transfer the licenses to a new PC I'm buying? When running Windows Blinds beta all themes apart from Aero derivatives break the ability to double click on a photograph & it open in Ashampoo Photo Commander viewer, when looking in Task Manager Ashampoo is running but fails to run display anything.
