I still want to hear more about steam controller, I might get one but not sure...
I think you're missing the point of the Steam Box. For us "PC Enthusiasts", we could say "oh go build a PC" since we would know what to buy and what's good and what's not as well as putting the thing together. However the Steam Box is not ai

Engine does not support turret animations.
There is a enabled mods text file in the download. Use that and just copy over the current one in the 1.80 mod folder.
It's not out yet.
Curious how the top games list works. You hover over the game names and you'll see that SoaSE has more votes than all of them except for Half Life 2. This ain't rating of 1-10 since we only have 85 of those with us listed with 104. Is it total votes for mods within that game?
The engine doesn't support it. That's why.
Truce Among Rogues + Open Rebellion tends to just give you like a super defense fleet in the form of militia. Sure you'll have to colonize again but in the end you get a buffed up defense fleet for free funnily enough. Shouldn't this be changed?

At least it means that there's ample development going on. Eh.. far moreso Stardock than IC. IC has been too busy making their upcoming failed endeavor (it will in a MOBA market flooded with LOL and DOTA) Sins of a Dark Age. Rebellion has been primarily a Stardock Entertainment game then, and will be
@korbano You have made it very clear all you want is to PIRATE THE GAME. That's it. You already made it crystal clear that you think piracy is ok because "what happens in my home is no one's business". Don't even try to come here and complain about Steam with that level of intellectual dishonesty. The 'opinion' of a pirate like you deserves no quarter and has no place in a legitimate discussion about
It's a safe bet we will though I never understood why people want them, then again I don't understand the whole achievement thing either.
Renaissance? You assume it was at a low-point before Steam? I'm sceptic about that because I've heard the "PC gaming is dead" routine since the first Playstation came out. And I have not seen a single year that didn't have some good games appear. True, there may be an influx of developers but most of them seem to be the casual-gaming kind and usually don't last that long. We've even had some
See this is what competition does for the industry. It is required or else we have Nvidia running around with absurd pricing on GPUs. I am still going to buy an AMD card just to help it against Nvidia if anything else.

Pretty much any computer that's better than PCs in 2007-8 can run Rebellion just fine. You'll be fine.

You can buy on GoG or Amazon but the majority of times nowadays that'll just bring you a Steam code. Steam has essentially monopolized the market as it is. You have to understand that when it comes to Stardock here, this place tends to be Anti-Steam. We could go arguing ove
I think the better question would be if SoaSE 2 is out by the time something like Linux/SteamBox OS becomes a standard gaming OS rather than retooling Rebellion for it.
Details please!!!
TEC Rebels if you give them room to do this hyper-expansion with TAR, I can see it becoming pretty ridiculous coupled with TEC early rush advantages you can turn the Advent inside out before they can get the ball rolling. I wouldn't call it OP though.
