thanx but im looking for something that isnt a set name. like in the taskbar how the little bars have desriptions on them....how can i get descriptions to go on the sexktop x taskbar since their not definate objects, their items on the taskbar

is there a way to get word popup descriptions to show when you put the mouse over internet windows or anything else on the taskbar. because its hard to tell internet windows apart on the taskbar when their icons and not the little descriptions. i like the icons but i think that would help.

desktopx flashing and sound in Stardock Software WinCustomize Forums

currently i have the system matric program that shows me a few things. i have the syetem cpu usage and the disk drives and my e-mail notification. i know that you can do all of those with desktopx, though im not positive how with the cpu usage and making those graph things and all. what i was asking was if there was a way to attach a sound that would play when the e-mail notification switched to the got mail, and how i could add something that told me hwo many messages i have in my inbox. lastly

ive downloaded some very nie desktop x themes but i was wondering how to access the pictures in the themes. liek to make small alterations so the correct pics show and all. for like minor changes. once i change a graphic i can never get it back. their all liek stored in that wierd "theme" file. is there any way to get to those images and separate out the theme cmponents?
