fetal error in Demigod Technical Support Demigod Forums

i have been having problems running demigod i have owned it since it came out and it didnt work for me then, so i gave up. now i am trying it again and it still does not work. i start running the game and everything works but then as i am in the middle of a game i get a fetal error. it says something about a hardware device has been removed or something. (i cant see it all the time because it just crashes and i cant get to desktop or other windows so i have to reboot) i am running win

i have figured that out as well. i tried compatability turning down my graphics(which i shouldnt have to) and turning my sound quality down and it gives me the same error everytime. shouldnt someone from technical support look at these and let us know what to do?

sadly i am getting the same problem and i also need help. i have a nice comp only one year old and i dont know what is wrong either. at first i thought it might be sound since that has been a lot of peoples problem so i set it to medium and got it to play last night for a few games then today i went to play with the same settings and it cut out on me, so now i am very confused. i am also wondering if it is because i am running windows 7 professional 64-bit
