Yeah, but is it really a stun? It's a grapple, and the UB is just as immobile as you are when he does it.

Things change, people get angry... but the changes were desperately needed. 1st off, hooray for lowering the gold/xp provided by priests and angels. Sure, there is a right time and a wrong time to upgrade minions, but now choosing the wrong time is not an immediate spiral to rapid and complete destruction. Second, good, the Heart of Life is an artifact now. It easily provided the greatest way to disrupt an equal game. Now it is reserved to an end game, "OK let's hurr
7100 gold is such a weird nunber, how about around 7100 since you should be able to wait 10 seconds at the shop + usually I am upgrading items too so it is not so clear how much money you have available at any given time? Regardless 3x Bramble Shield 3x Ground Spikes 1x Spike Wave Items: Swift Anklet Boots of Speed Scaled Helm Banded Armor Teleport Scroll Universal Gadget Mana Potion Sell Banded Armor get Hauberk<
The point is, things like shield on allies, heals on allies, taking non-selfish skills like permafrost or fire aura, or using favor items like blood soaked wand or buying things like sludge slinger help your allies beat you to the punch in the other categories, yet can often be the difference between a win and a loss, so you don't get any reward for helping them score better than you. I guess the point is, using a shield on yourself or heal on yourself would not contribute t
This new category that would grant favor points at the end of the match would be for doing non-lethal, useful team stuff. eg: Healing, shielding, debuffing enemies, using items like Totem of Revelation, flag lock etc... Rules would need some thinking, probably a score based on mana cost, or item cost of the application of the power for "team spirit".
my recommendation would be to do a barrel roll.
Hax! ;)
Orion, I do hope you realize that Khan was wrong when he said that. They did, in fact, get away. Just FYI.
Not in my imagination. :D
WHat? I love QoT at level 15, she is indestructible and can slow anyone to their doom. Goddess of thorns + Spike Wave + Wyrmskin gloves = /Khan quote "No, you can't get away!" Mwhhaaaaa
Let's be clear that 2 UB vs 2 Reg on Prison is not so imblanaced as you might think when played right. Although not the original purpose of the post, I will add some more details on the game. 1) You are almost always in perfect snipe range, even when they are regenerating at their crystal, so you will be eating arrows in the face constantly. 2) There is little manuvering room, so the enemy never gets caught with you inbetween them and their base. 3) The com
OK, so on prison it was 2 UB (us) vs 2 Reg The game was pretty even until around level 15 and we had the speed and items to gank at will any reg who strayed too far from base so we were putting good pressure on. Then the Regs pushed to giants and we were broke because we had items. :D WHat is the best way to proceed in this situation? In hindsight I am thinking sell items and tech up to giants too? Buffing defenses as we could afford it is what we ended
I didn't have any real disconnects yesterday. I did sit in the "Connection Info" screen for 5+ minutes once before canceling. +1 disconnect +1 loss. :(
I guess the point I am trying to make. Yes, everyone will have Blood of the Fallen after Day 1 but... Would it be better if you didn't have Blood of the Fallen because you started Day 1 later in the evening you could have, for example, Swift Anklet before most other people earn Blood of the Fallen? There might be a problem when people are arguing about the most expensive favor items being less useful then Blood of the Fallen, a moderate favor item. For certain havin
Figure I would ask here since this is where most people check. The situation: You have come home from work, and start a Pantheon game at 9pm. In your second match, you come across 2 guys who have blood of the fallen and you have nothing? You are pwn? I am thinking if Blood of the Fallen was worth more, say around 1000 favor, you could at least have a chance at having something like swift anklet while you work your way up to Blood of the Fallen on Day 1 of a new P
Don't move, the ball will pass over, arc around and hit. If you move, the projectile vanishes. Of course this is easier said then done if there is an enemy DG around.
I have an objection. Demigod crashed on me yesterday. It counted as a disconnect and loss. The next game I ended up with the same teammate, who told me not to rage quit. :D Can you guys maybe add a way for the online client to check the event log, and discount a game if the log shows the demigod exe stopped interacting around a certain time a disconnect was counted?
Quoting lukkas_ROCKUS, reply 20 Respectuflly disagree. When I'm fighting a DG, I'm not fighting someone who has 32% more HP than me. I've fighting someone who has 15% more. Or 15% less. That's what counts. How much our relative HP positions shifted from 30 seconds ago doesn't matter in the moment. What's past is past. What matters is the situation in the moment. <b
The Rook has the least amont of natural armor in the game... yes, less natural armor than even Sedna. :) I think this is what new people don't understand. Can you blame them? It doesn't really make a lot of "reality" sense, having princess skin stronger than giant castle skin. Suffice to say he takes a full pounding from standard damage. I think my favorite is when a rook hammer slam gets silenced in mid swing. Bwhahahaha.
TB can put alot of dammage in play quickly and can be just as fast as Reg. It's not so simple against a smart TB. If you go for the kill against TB he can punish you and escape, keep your distance and play a "do not die" strategy with Reg and TB farms better than you can. I find the best strategy as Reg against a good TB is to concentrate on dammage output skills and beef up as much life, and later armor, as you can. Go for staying power so TB can't stay around where&nb
Sounds like the actual problem is that your team mates are dying constantly, not health stacking (that would be a problem killing enemy DGs, not a problem getting killed by them) :)
This is what happens when you believe that life and regen are always better than life and armor late game. You get waterboarded by Oak's minions, especially if you get slowed. Another thing to consider vs mass mosquitoes is dodge... Sure 20% may seem like a pretty pointless risk when you are talking about high damage one shots from DG powers. But when you have dodge vs a dozen+ minion and you throw in some high armor, you get much more staying power.
You know when you win a tournament? Yeah, please turn that into a DreamScene.... uhh... yeak, QoT should be done 1st. Thanks. I'm sure it will be a good promotion tool. :D
There is one negative I can think of in the early game. Usually there is a heavier forest of towers behind the upfront unsupported one. This allows weaker DGs to farm in safety early on, as the creeps will now advance to an area you can't push the enemy out of.
It needs to be a relic and worth around 6000.
My 2 styles Creep killer / support build Increment these evenly and max them. Bramble Shield Ground Spike Spike Wave Compost Uproot Goddess of Thorns Job: run into creep wave while shielded, ground spike and spike wave. Retreat. Shield allies when they are in battle and stay back. Cast uproot on towers that your allies are attacking. Life and speed keep you alive, don't overdue it on the spike usage, save it for creeps. Exc
It's more complicated then you make it out. Characters have different base armor, life and health per second, and they change as they level up. Some items make more of a diffrence early on and less later on. eg: Take banded and hauberk 1st, swap them out later on for Nimoth and Groffling later on. Minions and creeps take their toll during batle as well and for sure you will be hit by standard attacks from DGs, not just "magic".
