Why don't they make this F2P? in Demigod Demigod Forums

With the recent growth of the MOBA genre, Riot and, perhaps S2 shortly, have had a lot of success with a free to play business model. I bought Demigod a couple years back, but did not play it very much. I decided to look up how it was doing today, and maybe give it a play, but it seems that the game is all but dead. If GPG were to move over to a free to play model, and give it some advertising (via sites like IGN, GameInformer, etc) this game could quickly gain a second wind and a player base

Crashes constantly in Demigod Technical Support Demigod Forums

I am using a quad core computer, with a 1gig graphics card, windows 7 OS x64, and the whole shebang - so my comp runs this beautifully once i actually get into a game. But the game will freeze randomly outside of games, i might hit "multiplayer" and the game will show the button as clicked, but stop responding, the music will keep going. Shift alt and such wont work so i have to ctrl alt del to get out of it, and it shows it as not responding so i have to shut off the process. I get maybe 10-
