The status reports are good. No question on that. I don't know much about the gaming industry but I'd always believed that when a game ships, it has a relatively short window in which to "hook the market" before the next game comes along. I am a fickle game player ... I personally don't care too much about the distributors or developers. Presumably the employees are salaried and probably on a bonus plan related to the success of the game. I

Thanks for the response. I'm an old-guy .... been working client/server computing since the 80s ... I guess when I said new technology like P2P it is all relative :-) As far as P2P goes ... can we think of any other games that have utilized P2P to keep their players in synch with each other? Neil

In principle, I am all in agreement with attempting some new piece of technology such as "P2P". After all, if we didn't explore new options, nothing would ever progress. I haven't heard any compelling technical reasons why P2P was chosen ... but ... more importantly in my mind, I haven't heard why it isn't working like we would hope.

I have bought the game and look forward to playing it. I am VERY far from wanting my monies back but Kudos to StarDock for being so open with us and their desire to build a loyal following. With a bill of rights like this ... that is a HUGE plus for them. I for one am willing to wait quite a while for the debounce and for things to calm down. That said though ... on-line is where the game's core will live or die so we should expect them to get t

Thank you for posting these updates. I don't mind at all hearing that there are problems ... these things happen. What I do like to hear are honest and clear reports on what the resolutions will be ... it may sound cheesy, but it makes me feel included and makes me a lot less frustrated. Neil

I am pretty much the same. I too have waited a LONG time for a game with few results. Note that I said "few" and not "no"... it can take an awfull long time to find a match but it can eventually happen. When I play at the Pantheon, I am not sure if the number of demigods listed are: 1. The total number of registered Demigod players 2. The number of Demigod players CURRENTLY playing at the Pantheon Instead of waiti

Folks, With Object Dock 1.9 Pro, I have a an Object Dock at the bottom and a Tabbed Dock at the right. I also have two monitors. I find that when I start Object Dock, the Tabbed Dock appears on the right of the monitor ... but WHICH monitor appears to be where my mouse cursor is shortly after starting the program. I see that Object Dock has a named monitor option but there doesn't appear to be the same for a Tabbed Dock. Neil

Hi ... great questions ... thanks for the response. Yes ... I did evaluate Object Dock before registering for Object Doc Plus. I can't now remember if I un-install basic first. I have a bunch of things in the tabbed dock include System Tray and Task bar. I have a few extra docklets installed including the CPU monitor. I did not install via Impulse. I finally figured out how to remove Task Bar from the tabbed

Folks, Am running ObjectDock 1.9 Plus on a Vista x32 system. I have an ObjectDock dock on the bottom and an ObjectDock tabbed dock on the right. In my tabbed dock, I have a "TaskBar" entry for showing icons of my launched applications. When I select that tab, ObjectDock locks solidly and consumes a CPU's worth of processing time. No other diagnostics that I can find. I can't even delete that tab as I have to select it first in order to delete

I am running the latest version of OD Plus. I find that when I launch the latest version of FireFox from the dock, the menus in the browser show a "white on pale blue". This sounds confusing ... let me start again. I am running Vista and my desktop theme is Aero. When I start FireFox from a desktop shortcut and then right click in the middle of a page, the context menu shows black text on a pale background. When I mouse over a menu entry, a

Folks, Newbie to ObjectDock ... wonderful ... immediately purchased a license. I find that with tabbed docks, if I set the background color of a tab to a "light" color like yello or white, it is difficult to read the labels beneath the icons. I see that these labels appear to be "white" font with what looks like a "black" shadow. I am wondering if there is a way to customize the settings of the font and color for the labels. Simple black on light
