I agree with everyone. Staring at the red skull for more than a second gives any good RTS player an eye twitch...

Betas are not meant to be fun, they are meant to -test- and ensure a quality product. Seems a few too many open betas have warped the view on why beta testing exists. Fun is a byproduct of quality. The D2 Open beta was act 1 & warriors, not exactly fun or remotely the powerhouse it came to be. I would also second a pushback again, if feasible. More test time, more balance time, and more marketing time...though still plenty of time to get the word out,
+ Melee gods dont's suck, slow down a ranged god & wail on him. Granted they are harder to use & take much more strategy...but overall they can bring about a beatdown, i've seen it done. Balance is still in the works overall anyway + The login 'issues' are well-known & If I were devs would be the last thing on the agenda, as networks & balancing issues are still abound...that fix is just interface tweaking for the release...though I never realized how
I second your frustration, I have a friend & myself who pre-ordered eager to play some co-op together & write up some bug reports...and invite more to try the beta. /bump - any new ETA anyone? I saw end of last week, early this week posted...and its friday :( Worries me there might be delay trouble in the future (which is normal, but I'd still like to be up-to-date on whats up) :/
Internally I assume you guys have a good system for bug tracking or something more involved at the least, but I thought for the public testers it might be a viable idea to pin a post listing "currently known issues or bugs" so that people don't continually re-post the same issues. Note I'm not saying it to discourage posting, but maybe a list with quick summary or link to the thread(s) which orginally brought up the issue, so that information can be gathered on our end quickly & w
There are quite a bit of latency-related issues at the moment (which is hand-in-hand jinxing fps), so wait till next week with the next beta patching and try again - it might be more playable. Use that as heuristic, so then you can completely blame the card if it is still bad.
Yeah, the new beta build will be out in the next few days. A friend & myself got in 2 days ago, but even if you cant now - you definitely will be able to with the new build next week.
I'm having similar problems, though I'm relating it to possible network latency issues (since connections are rough atm as is). Vista Home Premium (SP1) 32-bit Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT - 512MB Dedictated Memory Since this laptop is a custom lenovo from ABS Pc, video drivers are a pain in the butt to get ahold of. The major issue I'm having is that the settings don't matter up or down. My reccomended defaults were relatively high, but even with settings set c

When will the next beta window be open or is it still posible if I order now to get into Beta 2?
