Ok so I've been wondering about this for awhile now, how do items with the same effect work? For example, if I get an item that gives me dodge and another that also gives me dodge, do these two items stack together for a bigger chance to dodge? What if both the items are from say the boots section of the shop? Do the glvoes that give you a critical chance stack (its 5% isn't it?) So if I get two do i get 10% chance to crit or was it wasted money? Same for

Hosted a game with a password and people were still able to join, this has happened twice so its definatly not working - just in case you guys didn't know.
When hosting a game you can set an AI to play, you select the difficulty and there you go. But if you then want to change this you can't just click on that AI and select a different difficulty level. You must kick the AI/close the slot then re-assign the AI. My suggestion is to allow you to just click on the AI and the drop down includes the different difficulty levels for faster selection. This is not just for ease of use and because its faster but it is also more user friendly.
I'm pretty sure the Dev's are aware of this Vordrak because they obviously want them to be in before the Beta ends so they can be tested and been given feedback. But the Dev's have a lot on their plate as it is and are already working very hard as they have been thrown a lot of bugs/issues/good suggestions that also need to be worked on.
When playing Oak and you have summoned a lot of your flying spirits and you have everything selected they form a long line. If you get too close to the edge of the map you can loose spirits if you unselect them all because you can not see them, meaning you must scroll out to find them. If this is not a bug then it should be implemented so that they can't fly off the map if you get too close to it. Thanks, YouR-LasT-NighT
I was just about to post this. I'm pretty sure I have seen most units walk through walls, creeps especially.
I think your onto something here. Giving Demigod's a collision radius would provide many benefits like you have stated, most noteabley when Demigod's stack on top of one another. At the moment I'm pretty sure you can hide 'inside' a friendly players Rook and be virtually untargetable.
I'm not talking about loosing to AI and comparing them to human players. In general they make very bad choices which they shouldn't be doing.
His Snipe ability is pretty strong how it is, once its level 3 or so it becomes a pain to get away from him, in team fights or 1 Vs 1, you get on low hp, he just waits till your about to go out of Snipes range, targets you and you take a lot of damage and he gets the kill. Then again while you are casting the spell you are vulnerable to attack and being stunned. Hos move which adds bonus damage and takes 32 mana per shot is useless, I get the extra stats instead. The explosion
Trigeminal is right, setting the tower strength setting to low makes the game a end faster but it can also be annoying I find. This is because if the towers are on low and one team quickly rushes creep upgrades to that catapat... (can't remember or spell name sorry) then they can completely destroy the other teams base without them having a chance to counter.
Well I'm sure after Oak gets a nerf because of his stupid Last Stand he won't be as powerful. Everyone seems to have the same tactic, buy a few cheap items maybe then rush Citadel upgrades. There are some items though which are very powerful I think for the cost they currently are. Can't remember names right. What do you guys think?
I'm unsure if this is a bug or an idea, but the AI are completely a waste of time. I played my first player Vs player game today it was 3 (players) Vs 2 (players and AI on Nightmare). The only thing the AI was good for was feeding us, I killed him so many times and managed to get very powerful items and upgrades at the Citadel. I have noticed they are like this before when I play Vs AI only, but it stood out today how bad they are when it comes to their judgement. They will suicidally
See I have the same thoughts as voodofreak. If you rush Citadel its so easy to secure a victory, because the spawn times are so great if you upgrade a lot just before the spawn you can take down a lot of the other teams base and if they dont quickly upgrade (within the next 3/4 spawns) they can be wiped out. The game as I know it is not about buying items for yourself, if you buy Citadel upgrade faster than the other team you will very likely win.
OK I know Demigod isn't any were near being finished so this is hard to discuss, but I was wondering what do people do? Do you do Citadel upgrades? What ones do you do first? What ones do you miss? Do you do the gold increase to try gain an advantage later in the game? Do you upgrade creep numbers asap? When ever I upgrade creep numbers the battle always seems to swing to my favour almost instantly. What items are staple items (items you MUST have)? Do you stay clear of some items?</p
I'm with DeadMG, your towers are not going to do much to a Demigod that is 10 levels above you. I mean what items did Regulus have (we don't know cause can't see other Demigod's items, yet!) but I think we can say he probably had some pretty good items i.e. a lot of extra hp and armor. I also think that DeadMG is right with Citadel upgrades, these do not increase Rook's towers damage, hp, hp regen or anything.
When I die I have noticed that sometimes (once every 4 games or so) I am allowed to view my Demigod stats and skill tree, but all of the other times it doesn't let me do this. I'm not 100% sure if this is actually a bug or just not implemented. Either way it would be nice to be able to view your stats and skill tree while dead, as you can't see anything else because of the blur. Thanks, YouR-LasT-NighT
30% bonus damage to attack at all times is still nothing to laugh at. You feel that extra 30% with each, you may not, but your Demigod sure does to his hp! I think 30% is OK how it is.
16a. This is a killer for AI, they will follow you blindlessly into your base. Another bug here is that they also seem to randomly walk up and attack your base with no creeps around in a suicide attempt, this gets them killed a lot, this also makes AI unable to be played in games where its player(s) Vs player(s) because you can simply wait for when the AI suicidally attack your base (know that they will do this several times) and then just walk up and finish them with a nuke to g
Same here mfabichak, I am also on here searching for an update list.
Grr I'm annoyed I was downloading at a nice speed of over 350KB/s but now all the Americans have are finishing work and downloading also its dropped to a pathetic 170KB/s!! But I'm soooo excited for when it finishes, currently on 66.2%. Thanks for releasing Demigod as early as you could Frogboy!!
Little confused, will beta 2 have a sinlge player option to play vs AI or is it PVP (player Vs player) only? As screen shots say multiplayer only but you guys here are saying player Vs AI is possible =S
There are some aspects of DotA that are obviously closely related to Demigod, by the sounds of it. But they are still different games and I'm sure when beta 2 comes out people will be able to comment on the similarities and differences between Demigod and DotA much easier. I havent played Demigod yet. But I would like to see more than 8 Demigod's. Lets be honest, they will never reach 90+ like DotA because of the size and scale of Demigod's - the coding must be huge! I would still lik
Hi all, I've just signed up on Impulse and bought the download and pack bit (slightly more expensiev one). I am in the process of downloading this Impulse setup. So what now, once its downloaded I install it and I have the beta 1? Or do I install it and then wait for beta 2 to come out, which they will then email me a link to a page where I can download it? Please can someone explain for me as I'm a bit worried of messing it up and not getting the chance t
Thanks agaiin OrleanKnight, I shall definatly register for pre-order later today sometime, then I'm guessing I just wait for an email and link with password to the page and download the beta 2? Assuming it works on Windows Vista. Shame they are only allowing 2 beta phases, I guess that keeps the excitement though for when the game is finally released.
Thanks guys for the info. And yes I do play DotA, have been playing it since before IceFrog was the main coder for it, so yeah a long time lol. This game does sound very good. When would be the best time for me to pre-order it cause I know beta 2 is coming out soon, if I'm correct. And can I still become a beta player or is it too late, please can someone advise me on this. P.S. That is a nice guide OrleanKnight and is very helpful. Thanks, YLN
