Tell me what the following Steam settings are set to for you (click on Steam at the top left, then Settings): In-Game: Is "Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game" checked? What is written beneath "Overlay shortcut keys"? Interface: What skin is selected? Is "Enable DirectWrite for improved font smoothing..." checked? Is "Enable hardware video decoding, if supported" checked? Also, are both of those computers Ma
Can you restart your computer, start the game, and when on the main menu, hit Shift+Tab and see if it comes up? Also, please post how much memory/RAM you have on your machine and what kind of video card you have (with total VRAM).

When you upload something from within the game, does the Steam overlay come up shortly after hitting Upload? Does hitting Shift+Tab bring up the Steam overlay? Does hitting Shift+Tab in other games bring up the Steam overlay? If anyone having this problem can answer these questions, it will help me to track down the issue further :)
Thanks for the report. We already have a fix in place for the next update. In the meantime, your workaround (go to Help then play and quit the Tutorial) will work to circumvent the issue until the update is live. We apologize for the bug :) Bara
We're considering other platforms, but we don't have anything to announce yet.
The next update will help reduce your concerns :) That being said, we never intended the in-app purchases to be mandatory or a large part of the game. They're just there for convenience.
We'll see about implementing a confirmation, or reducing mistaken clicks in some way :) Bara
This is awesome!

Meh, the iPhone hasn't interested me for years. The software has stagnated, Apple's walled garden completely turns me off from their products, and I personally hate their polymorphic design aesthetic. The iPhone 5 didn't show anything that made it a must-have besides making the screen bigger (which, if you'd look at Android and even Windows Phone 7 phones that have released in the past 2 years, a bigger display is nothing special). As for pricing, what they announced i
Unfortunately I am not longer on the web team at Stardock. I have moved over to the games team working on some super secret special projects (not really :p). I'll pass this along to the right people though :) Bara

I'll talk to the right people about adjusting or replacing that ad. Bara
I am a firm disbeliever that anyone ever clicks a banner ad on purpose.
Entire companies are built around advertising. Google makes something like 90% of their money from advertising. Facebook exists because of advertising. Do you really think all of those clicks are on accident? You also didn't take into account our subconscious memories. Seeing an ad may not phase you but later, when you're in the store sh
I am unable to recreate your issue. Seeing as you've already cleaned and re-installed Firefox, the only other possible cause of the problem is something else on your computer. Some software may be installed that could be interfering. Do you have anti-virus installed? Try disabling it. Don't have it installed? Try installing one and doing a system scan. Your firewall could also be preventing some traffic (such as images) from coming through. I couldn't tell you why it is only affec
So who wants to try to persuade me (as a long time user of Stardock software) to install Stardock Central and use it in stead of the Store?
Do you want to have to remember or look up the version of WindowBlinds you're currently running every time you go to the Store to check for updates? What if there's an important stability update to Fences right now that you won't see for days to come? Stardock Central does all of that for you. It silently c
Quoting GunslingerBara, reply 101Just pushed an update to Stardock Central (Beta 2.70). The changelog is as follows: Added a right-click option for software to go to it's product page on stardock.com (or wherever makes most sense). Now showing the logged-in user's avatar and username in the corner of the Downloads section. In the Downloads section, there is a new "View Subscriptions" link
I know of the issue but haven't had a chance to fix it. I'll try to do so in the next few days. Sorry for the delayed response. Bara
