[quote who="innociv" reply="5" id="1885241"] Quoting Curseman, reply 3 I think it would be easier to balance if they made it so % boosts only stacked with your character's base attack rather than with items, because if they do that, then it's almost inevitable for either the skill +items to be overpowered, or the items and skill separately to be underpowered. No it means the +damage items would be overpowered for the rook. It m

The reason why people are questioning whether the fire aura affecting oneself is intentional or not is, I think, because that means you are always receiving a full effect from it, whereas with the ice aura it only reaches its full effect after around 10 seconds of fighting the enemy.

My only issue was that the left mouse button seemed like it wasn't really used much, and that it might be better for the controls to split it more evenly, but after playing another round and looking at it, I think that it's inevitably going to be that way. Since the player has 3 basic abilities (movement, attacking, and using skills), it's inevitable that one mouse button will end up doing more than the other. I think it'll be better for generals, like BulletMagnet said, and

I don't think I have the option to change any keybindings or anything of that sort. I have a tab for gameplay options, which doesn't offer any ability to alter my keybindings, and then there are video and sound options, which are likewise unrelated. Is this different from what anyone else has? At any rate, I don't think having different controls for assassin characters versus general characters is a bad idea.

Does it seem to anyone else that the left mouse button is underused in this game? I understand that it is based on an RTS engine, where the left mouse button traditionally selects your units, and the right mouse button gives them commands, but it seems to me that since the player is only controlling one unit, this should be changed around. I think moving with the left mouse button and using attacks with the right mouse button like in Diablo would work pretty well. What do

Okay, so you have to run Impulse once to get it going and then you don't have to do it again until the next update? That sounds like a pretty convenient system to me. It looks like it could be fun from the videos posted online, I like the idea behind the game, and if nothing else, I really appreciate Stardock and GPG's DRM policies, so I think I'll go ahead and give this a try. Thanks!

Hey, this game looks unique and fun, and I'm considering preordering it now and giving the beta a try. I have a few questions that I thought I would ask around here first though. First of all, I realize that it's a very early beta, so what all of you have is far from what the completed game will be like, but what is your impression of the game? How would you describe the gameplay to someone who does not play Defense of the Ancients? My second question is regarding Im
