Are you sure about that? I mean, I know the endgame says you got it but have you seen it applied to your next round?
First, I think DG's should all have names. UB is a 'type' not a name. They should be more personal. Stalky, for instance... Yes, there is DOTA in my veins. Second, Can we have some random options? Maybe a segment of pantheon/skirmish that is random dg selection for all involved? Finally, my DG idea: Name: Chameleon (Claire) Type: Assassin Description: Claire is very flexible in many, many, many different ways. [e digicons]<3[/e] A creatur
Can we have something that avoids teaming you with the same person twice in a row? It only happened once, but two games in a row of a Rook dying 10+ times, trailing by 6 levels, and dealing less damage than sedna is just not fun.
How much disk space do you have available?
Maybe you are just leet. I've played against 2x erebus a few times and it utterly blows.
Hmm I was actually wrong about bite. It is 1/2 as strong as I said.
And @Multianna on Erebus, bite is way OP at level 1. If they both bit you simultaneously, you just lost 1200 HP and you have 500 left. Two attacks from each (probably less than 1.5 secs) and you are dead. This assumes you didn't buy some hp/armor, but even if you did, the stuff you can afford at level 1 would make little difference to this.
I still want to hope that one day people can just pick from all the items and be done with it. I don't know what all is behind their matchmaking, but I just do not understand how giving what is probably an already advantaged player even more of an advantage (however small or great it may be) is a good thing at all. If nothing else, it could look at stats and give less/more favor to spend based on your relative skill level to the other players. If people want something
Yeah, Random_Guy is correct. I have played two games recently where I lost the game but had double the winners' favor, taking almost every award.
See, that's the perfect embodiment of mature and respectful you should definitely listen up!
I've started alt-tabbing out between games and deleting my game.prefs file, going into options and applysing the settings, then going into multi. Maybe a fluke, but so far I can always buy items. The actual favor point count I have to spend on them is pretty random though.... Sometimes I heve all I heve earned, others, only the ones I earned in the very last battle. It does make you think of some different ways favor points could work that may be cool. I'd still like to see it
++making infinite pauses default. I think customs should do the same, but maybe just be only host can pause.
I've seen that same thing with the super healing. I think they just get so much armor that whatever dmg does get through, it ain't enough. It probably isn't 1800 hp/sec if you aren't already figuring for armor in that. You can nail a creep for 600 but then hit a heavily armored dg for less than 300.
I would be happy to see mirrors of the demigodthegame forums here so my work proxy doesn't eat them. :D
Yeah, uhm, I love the game overall, but the AI is a bullet point in the marketing. I wonder sometimes if there isn't just a small bug somewhere that is making the AI worse than it really is. I keep hoping that one day they'll fix something like the click bug and the AI will magically start kicking butt.
I dunno if it would make it work even as a temp fix. It seems like sometimes I show that I have favor pts but everything is red. The ones I have bought are just a slightly different shade of red.
Ninja'd ftw.
There's sort of a snowball effect. You get first kill and the gold/xp plus they lose gold/xp while they wait on tiemr and run back to battle. There is a high premium on dying. Do not die.
I wish they'd just do away with the points and let you pick 1 item. There's enough strategy there for it to be worthwhile without the pts at all.
Seriously, if you think it is imbalanced you should play DG you think is awesome. You'll either find that it is much more the skill behind the DG, or so many people will be playing the same DG that it'll get balanced so people play the others.
Yeah if you play it as sedna, just go where most of yours are and keep them healed. Now, anyone got nightmare tips? I've beaten hard with most every DG. Not even close on nightmare though. They just outlevel all my team and AI vs AI pretty much boils down to their levels.
I think things are suprisingly well balanced. One thing that makes some seem stronger is that their counters are more obscure so that you don't just stumble on doing the right things so easy.
A foregone conclusion isn't much of a game. Sit there and let me run over you or you're less of a person? LOL
If you knew what you were talking about you might have noted that the case was in Sweden not Switzerland. Ego Fail.
